^ I second the motion. We should have a rule about disallowing the posting of inappropriate softwares/programs here in Ftalk.
Also, i would like to include the posting of direct links to cracked softwares and torrents to be disallowed as well. Links to the sites are okay, but direct linking is another story. I admit i also use cracked softwares and download torrents, but i know its not legal, so im not really promoting it to others.

I saw the post on [b]Underground[/b] section -- that one really needs some attention.

We've some cracked ones there, like the XP Pro download (most links don't work though).
I'd like to know from sir Admin what is his thoughts about posting cracked softwares.
To be honest, we can't fully trust sites on freewares.
Those with full internet security may be less prone to threats.
But with others, it may be a problem.

yes. on all forums, talking about illegal software etc can be discuss in private. i mean there are not so harmful softwares that we can share to members but we can share it through private messages.
illegal softwares are very abundant and most say it is common but we must not follow those people who obviously breaking legal rules. friendstertalk must go on top of them and be a model for other sites.

Bots, Cracks and Crack/Key Generators (Specially in Adobe Series). Some of the genre we need to watch out for because involves a hacking idea.
Boosting Internet Speed and other parts of your P.C. is still kinda legal because it doesn't intend hacking in the binary of the main software of hardware but if the tip involves hacking just delete the hack part because the post may be useful...
On torrents we can just suggest that they can upload the program there but never give them a hint about cracks, If they really want the key gens let them take the risk.
Hack Related must be closed and moved here for appropriate actions...

The things is, we couldnt hide the fact that illegal/cracked softwares are being used by most of the internet users. I admit I am a crack software user. But I just dont give out direct links to anyone.
For example, a member would ask about where to look for keygens/cracks for Adobe CS3. I think its just ok to tell them that there are torrents for it. But i suggest we dont directly give them the links for the torrent. Since everybody is entitled a choice for themselves, its up to them if they really wanna get a cracked version. But let them look for it themselves.

I'm a cracked software user myself, but I think we should prohibit discussions and direct links for illegal software in our forum.
