I think it's the character that people, esp. girls love about Edward Cullen. Honestly, even before the movie, I really liked Edward Cullen because of how he is portrayed in the novel. I think if it had been Dan or any other actor, I'd still like the character, or more - if it had been a better actor than Rob. (no offense to Rob fans,)

Gaspard would be the perfect Edward Cullen but... ah, he kinda looks older than 17. He was actually the one who was supposed to play as Edward but he turned it down.

no offense to rob pat's fans,
but i prefer steven strait as edward cullen..
i dont know why..
maybe because ive read the whole saga
and i just find steven to be more like edward cullen
since he already portrayed as caleb in the covenant..
i just love steven strait..

i dunno if they ever consider him to be either of the two main male cast..
