There's really no need to get serious in love when you're still in your teenage years. It's simply 'puppy' or 'infatuation', swear

Well, most of those so-called 'love' that teenagers often have are mistaken for puppy love and/or infatuation -- that's true. But some of them are real.
It's not that bad to get all serious about love even though it's only puppy love/infatuation because that's when people learn more about true love and gain experience on relationships. At least, that's what I think. ^^
But yes, I guess there's no need to get all serious about love. Or rather, there's no need to rush into falling in love.

@topic: Because my heart beats for him.
I don't enter a relationship unless I know that I love the guy. If I don't love him while he's courting me, then I'll learn to love him while he's courting me. If he gets tired because I won't give him an answer, then fine.

Let him be. But I won't be his girlfriend unless I love him. I once got into a relationship without knowing if I love him or not. I claimed that I loved him, but I realized after being with him, I didn't. So I immediately got out of it because it would hurt both of us in the long run.
Now I'm in a relationship with a guy that I really love. <3 If it were another guy, I wouldn't be willing to be in a long-distance relationship with him.
