Character Description:
Nozomi is a teacher, and as a teacher, she usually teaches student education and aspects of life. She also likes browsing the Internet for new ideas. She also like to moderating forum debates and discussions and is very strict when it comes to time management and grammar. She likes talking to her friends in real life and on the Internet and is never shy or afraid to share her opinions, even though sometime it's too optimistic or illogical

. Her wish is to become a good example for everyone and to work hard for her family even if it causes her lack of two to three days of sleep.
The egg thing on Nozomi's left shoulder is Mr. Penguiné. He is part duck, part platypus and part penguin. He can't actually speak but he uses signboards to express his feelings. His signboard also turns very big when angry. He hates spammers and rule breakers and tries clobbers them with his signboard. But the thing is... due to this little body. He can't lift the signboard if it turns big.

For the logo on the right... that was supposed to be my ftalk logo entry.

But for some reason. I wanna add it to my mascot design, so I added it.

I just modified a bit for this entry

Concept behind the character:
Nozomi means wish in Japanese. I chose the name because wishes makes us feel alive. Besides, everyone who joined this forum has a wish or desire they wish to fulfill.
Usually, people who join this forum have a wish. It's either they wish to learn, they wish to understand, or they wish to speak out their mind and so-on.
I chose Japanese culture as basis because well... it sounds cool! I think?

I was planning Germany or Russia as a basis but it seems I can't make it work.

Finally, I chose a semi-serious designed character because to make a challenge.
