This is a replacement from their previous release Microsoft Windows Defender. It deletes most malicious Autorun files and clean's infected files, not delete. If Microsoft keeps this product up. It may run Computer Security companies, out of business.

hmm since its free, I guess this would be a big deal for other antivirus programs,, gotta try this thanks

actually im searching for a good antivirus software right now , hmm you think y ou can compare this to kapersky, avg, bitdefender etc or better than them?

Also, what better antivirus to protect windows than windows?

Check the youtube reviews and you'll see it's good.

I'm now using it, I test it, very fast response and also gives us an option what to do with the file, great

^Yeah, a very ideal program. It doesn't detect .exe, .vbs, .bat alone, it also detects html and .txt and .inf files if it contains malicious strings or commands. Even the revised virut didn't had a chance. Anyway I suggest join Microsoft Spynet.

i replaced my kaspersky for this in my windows vista. I think this is the cause of the error of my win defender, i get error 0x800106ba everytime i run win defender. maybe MSE disabling my windefend. Thanks for the info.
