Blast you, Farmville. The most addictive of Facebook games is hardly even a game — it's more a series of mindless chores on a digital farm, requiring the endless clicking of a mouse to plant and harve

Blast you, Farmville. The most addictive of Facebook games is hardly even a game — it's more a series of mindless chores on a digital farm, requiring the endless clicking of a mouse to plant and harvest crops. And yet Zynga, the evil genius behind this bizarre digital addiction, says more than 10% of Americans have logged in to create online homesteads. How many hours of lost productivity does that translate to? Tough to guess. But for me, personally, at least dozens. Sorry, TIME. Source : Time What do you think? Your opinion?

wahaha I have read this article some two or three days ago.. and included in the list are Crocs and the Venetian-blinds sunglasses.. hahaha. :D couldn't agree better haha! =D by the way, I am on level 53 in Farmville, as much as I can remember, and I COULD NOT BELIEVE that I wasted so much time on attaining that level. I 'planted', 'plowed' and 'harvested' pixels to gain more 'pixels' called coins and XPs to buy more 'pixels', this time in the form of decorations to fill out my 24x24 pixel 'field'. hahaha. I just laugh out the times when I used to be 'addicted' on 'playing'---err was that even playing--- on clicking at the Flash animation of Farmville! hahaha :)) so many productive hours wasted. :shakefist: edited: ohh correction. it was Level 55 :rolleyes: wahahaha. epic waste :invi:

Well, I am on Level 35 in Farmville BUT after I got addicted to Plants vs Zombies I stop playing/clicking Farmville. :D And I must agree that FV is one of the WORST inventions. Such a waste of time. I just realized that after I stop.

I know. :lol3: When I was in the middle of lvl 25-30 (I couldn't even remember in what level I stopped playing it :lol3:), I was like, 'why I haven't realized this game is so fvcking boring. :lol3:' I mean, you would plow, plant and harvest them one by one. And, those animals and trees killed me. :lol3: It's a pure waste of time. I don't even know why people are still addicted to it. When you get stuck on a level it gets boring. @_@ People are still giving the hell out on these hypes that are pointless. :\ Plus, these game developers makes mad $$$$$ because of those holics in this ever boring game. LMAO. :lol3: It's okay to play this game, but to pay for FV Cash or something? YOU ARE INSANE. :lol3:

As a gamer, one thing why people easily get hooked with Farmville is that you level up so quickly and you gain coins easily which provides more and more access to further things and contents in the game. I once was addicted to the game but quit after reaching level 14 - 15. All you do is to click and click and click. End. :x_x:

But once you are in the higher level it will took you long hours/days before you can reach the next level. That`s why I stop playing FV.

I've always wondered why those two became popular :facepalm: @T: Never started on Farmville. A lot of my friends asked me to create a farmville account though so they can expand their farm. lmao.
it's more a series of mindless chores on a digital farm, requiring the endless clicking of a mouse to plant and harvest crops
The best description for Farmville. @_@ I admit, I tried playing it. I didn't even level up at all. HAHA! It's a sad excuse for a game, really. Yeah - people are too excited and addicted to farm online. How about trying to farm in real life, people? Let's see if you get addicted to that. |: Any game that requires too much clicking is a bore for me. Aside from FPS games of course. Heehee. :}
