I watched Karate Kid last night. I think it was a good remake.
Jaden Smith is so charismatic.
My favorite part was

That's China. There's Jackie Chan. There's NO karate. Karate is Japanese/Okinawan. Gotta hate Hollywood and [h=#000000]balck[/h] kids.

^ I know! The movie title was so deceiving. It was [b]NOT[/b] karate at all. 
Putting that aside, the movie was pretty good.
Although some parts of it were kind of disturbing. ;n; What is up with the love story between those two kids?

Jaden Smith is fit in his role. And why change the character`s name? I expected that Jackie Chan`s character name is Mr. Miyagi and Jaden`s name is Daniel. But I like the way they portray their roles.

Karate? This was kung fu.
I honestly didn't like it as much, Jaden Smith didn't really act as good. But the plot and the scenes were good overall.
The original trilogy OWNS though. Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita FTW.

I've seen great movie titles with shitty storyline. It doesn't matter as long as the movie is awesome right?
