LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Miley Cyrus is no Gleek.
"Honestly, musicals? I just can't," she told the June issue of Billboard of the FOX show, which recently featured her song, "The Climb." "What if this was real life and I was just walking down the street on Rodeo Drive and all of a sudden I just burst into song about how much I love shoes?"
The tween singer-actress also revealed that despite her chart hits, she's no fan of pop music.
"I listen to zero pop music, which is really weird for someone who makes pop music," she told the mag. "My 13-year-old self would have beaten up my 17-year-old self because she would be like, 'You're a sellout!'"
However, Miley explained that her dance floor-ready latest album, "Can't Be Tamed," is more than just hooks and a flashy image.
"It's not dance music that's just about, 'Ooh, I'm in the club and everyone's looking at me,'" Miley said. "It means something. I'm not just sitting here trying to sell glitz and glamour...because no one lives that life. A lot of [pop] songs are super shallow, but this music isn't."
Miley's not afraid to take on things she's not into - in recent months, she's admitted to having never listened to Jay-Z, said she's "never seen ['Twilight'] and never will" and even dissed Justin Bieber, telling MTV, "I'm not necessarily a fan."
However, there must be something she likes about him - the teen stars had dinner in West Hollywood together earlier this month.
