Chloe is a 2009 erotic thriller directed by Atom Egoyan, and starring Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Nina Dobrev, Meghan Heffern and Max Thieriot. The screenplay was written by Erin Cressida Wilson, based on the film, Nathalie..., written by Anne Fontaine. StudioCanal fully financed this film, which had already made its budget back via international pre-sales. This film's United States distribution rights have also been acquired by Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group, which opened the film in limited theatrical release in the United States on March 26, 2010 through Sony Pictures Classics;. In the United States, this film grossed $3 million theatrically and became one of the higher-grossing specialty films in 2010(according to Variety, "$3 million is the new $10 million" for specialty films' box office in 2010).
Trailer:

Cast: Julianne Moore - Catherine Liam Neeson - David Amanda Seyfried - Chloe Nina Dobrev - Anna Max Thieriot - Michael Meghan Heffern - Miranda Laura DeCarteret - Alicia Mishu Vellani - Julie Story: Catherine and David, she a doctor, he a professor, are at first glance the perfect couple. Happily married with a talented teenage son, they appear to have an idyllic life. But when David misses a flight and his surprise birthday party, Catherine's long simmering suspicions rise to the surface. Suspecting infidelity, she decides to hire an escort to seduce her husband and test his loyalty. Catherine finds herself 'directing' Chloe's encounters with David, and Chloe's end of the bargain is to report back, the descriptions becoming increasingly graphic as the meetings multiply. Critical reception The film opened in 350 theatres to mixed reviews. Chloe was given a 53%, 67 "fresh" reviews, on Rotten Tomatoes. [9] Website metacritic, which assigns a normalized score from major reviewers, gave the film a 48 out of 100, based on 33 reviews.[10] Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times gave the film 3.5 out of 4 stars, while Elizabeth Weitzman of New York Daily News gave the film 1 out of 5 stars. Trivia: In the middle of March 2009, Liam Neeson interrupted filming his scenes in order to visit his wife Natasha Richardson in hospital after she had a skiing accident. The brain injury she received from this accident lead to her death a few days later. Just few days after her death, Neeson voluntarily returned to the set and completed his performance. The filmmakers changed the script accordingly and Neeson completed his performance in two days. Both Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried have the same birthday. Even before its theatrical releases, this film had already made its budget back via international pre-sales. Executive producer Jason Reitman helped persuade Amanda Seyfried to star in this film. Mirrors are frequently featured in the film, and when they are, there is usually more than one mirror in the same shot. A prime example would be the scene in the hotel room between Chloe and Catherine.

I haven't seen this one yet. But I heard that this movie is a *hohohot*. And Amanda Seyfried's acting goes really up with this movie.
Amanda's role here is really um, what do you call that? :lol3: Really challenging. But I don't like her kissing Liam Neeson. Like, he's too old for her. I mean, I know it's a film :lol3:, but nahh, I don't know. :lol3: And Jason Reitman is a savior! XD
