Fore those who have never seen Inception, I kindly request that you get out of here, since the movie was awesome and we don't want people you don't know spoiling it. I strongly suggest that you watch the movie. And because I care, I decided to quote the things I will type next.

Okay, so we are gonna discuss a lot of things here but I want us to focus on the ending. Did the spin stop? Did it keep spinning? Or neither? I want us to type our own theories. I'm a dude that strongly encourages freedom of speech so no matter what anyone says, you have to let your voice out and say you're own theory. You can say that he/she is wrong but you can't call him/her names or offend him/her or question his/her IQ. May we have an interesting discussion, and may we respect each other. And for the sake of having an interesting discussion, I won't start. Because if I say something, it might get stuck in your head, just like the movie. hahaha. So for the person who wants to reply first I want you to be careful but don't hesitate.

Did the spin stop? Did it keep spinning? Or neithe
that's the exciting and partly "nakakabitin" part. the totem might have stopped or not. but I think it did. because Mal is only part of his past. as what he has said "I miss you more than I can bear, but we had our time together. I have to let you go"

i've had so many theories about it. -_- i was thinking that if it didn't stop, then maybe all that has happened was just a dream. and that relating it to real life, nothing is real and inception is really not possible. and that maybe, they reached level 5 and that the ending of the movie was level 1. but it was all so confusing because why was he together with his old self? like, what's that level? :|

they said he was dreaming the entire movie. I was like, that's possible. coz in the end, the totem didn't stop. And I saw a scene where they both grew old, and they were walking. XD K, then they said they got sedated for 50 years. But, it was a dream, right? wait, so it's really confusing. I just watched it yesterday, and it's still stuck in my head.

^ I'll definitely do that. XD Might as well post this;
Scenario 2: Cobb is still dreaming when the movie ends Several things are fishy about the ending of Inception. Besides the spinning top, there’s the fact that Cobb’s children are in the exact same position, wearing the same clothes, that they always are in his dreams. Secondly, it’s not entirely clear how Cobb and Saito have the wherewithal to emerge from the death state back to life. Whether the rest of the team has actually woken up from the movie is now unclear – we can really only see the world from Cobb’s point of view. In this interpretation of Inception, the meaning of the film is murkier – something along the lines of a Berkeleyan situation where we cannot determine the difference between dreams and reality.
source: http://www.breakingnewsandsport.com/inception-meaning/6194281/

i think nolan (the director) wanted the audiences to have their own conclusion about the movies. that's why he made it a bit confusing. but i still believe that cobb and saito still trap in their dream (level 5). because of the totem which was keep spinning at the end of the movie. and this one also makes sense.
Secondly, it’s not entirely clear how Cobb and Saito have the wherewithal to emerge from the death state back to life.
but, it's also a bit "blur" how cobb out of no where dumped off at the beach.
it's also a bit "blur" how cobb out of no where dumped off at the beach.
it's just it's way of transporting him to Saito's limbo, like what happened between Cobb and the girl when the girl didn't realize she was dreaming.
