^ why would someone be confused? if the topic is locked, they can't post there 
anyway, in some skins it can be distinguished if the topic is locked. 
even in the default.

I agree that it is quite easy to distinguish between open and locked thread, and each friendstertalk forum theme has its own style and image for locked thread.
For example on the default one,
normal threads will have this icon [img]http://theftalk.com/img/FriendsterTalk/icon_normal.gif[/img] or [img]http://theftalk.com/img/FriendsterTalk/icon_new.gif[/img] with blue title link,
locked threads are using this [img]http://theftalk.com/img/FriendsterTalk/icon_closed.gif[/img] with black title link.

I just noticed that now (NOW that admin mentioned the "locked" icon).
But yeah, all I know before was locked topics are colored black.

I didn't realize, well.. yeah some of us are colorblind.
By the way, the new icon on LOCKED topics are now in use.
It's much easier to distinguish locked topics now.

No. i'm using cellway i think.. i can easily differentiate closed topics from inactive threads with this skin
