Thanks for the suggestion dude. Well actually I'm not sure about this because sometimes we might need to share website urls to other people. But off course excessive advertising or spamming is not allowed and the particular member who's get caught doing that would be banned.

maybe if the website contributes to the topic and helps the topic starter. then will it be ok... but if someone just goes up and says.. "Visit this website!! (link here) I'ts cool! It's about my band!!!" that's just wrong.

How about websites or links in the signature? I think its also advertising. Is that allowed in here? I think it's good to advertise a website by means of putting it in your signature and not in a thread.
