Re:  do you have any masterpieces of just plain shots of anything? share it here. you can also discuss/explain why you chose it as the subject of your art. share it here. :eh:

There are not my best pictures, by far, but I can't find the ones that I'm really looking for. I have misplaced the disks that my other ones are on. I have some very beautiful pictures that I took a few years ago that impressed me. I'll keep looking for them, but for now I thought I'd share these. **Hmmm, I need to resize these so that you get a better perspective, but I'm not sure of how to do that.**
Hurricane Isabel (2003) aftermath. This was the house that I was living in at the time. Luckily, instead of falling over, the tree just kinda "leaned" over. It ended up being at $45,000 worth of damage.

As Hurricane Isabel was coming onto shore I was down at the oceanfront taking pictures. At this point, the winds were probably blowing at around 100 mph. Even this big guy was having trouble navigating. Also, the wind pushing throught that "tunnel" was incredible.

It wasn't until after I got this picture developed that I noticed a premade "caption" in the background. "Oh Fudge", a polite way of saying "oh, f**k". LOL

Likewise on this one...."Oh Fudge".

Most of the water you see there is actually supposed to be sand. The storm surge was pretty wild. This was taken not too long before I decided to get away from the oceanfront. It was getting pretty wicked. By the time I did finally leave that water had risen above the steps and eventually flooded the boardwal and even out into the main road about 30 or 40 yards further inland.

This was roughly the same spot as the picture above on the next day after the storm was gone. Notice how much sand was supposed to be in the previous picture. LOL

One of 2 buoy's that had been blown in from well offshore. A mile or so, if I remember correctly. Also, they definitely were not the biggest waves in the world, but in Virginia Beach, Virginia, those were relatively good size, as you can just barely see in the background the surfers were enjoying them.

The second buoy that got blown inshore.
