I just want to remind that we are in a forum. How other forums work, is the same here. People visit, login, or browse here to read topics. It depends on them if they want to navigate through the pages or not.
If they browse through the other pages, it will be easy to familiarize the forum and absorb lots of information that may help them in their Friendster profiles (which is the main purpose of this forum, that is to give/share info related to Friendster).
If they don't browse enough, they may either warned by other members or moderators because they might break some rules, offend other members, or post in an appropriate section, etc.
This is the advantage for those who reads a lot.

I know one member here who really likes to read a lot. Even before, she read in the recycle bin section. Because she reads a lot, she gains more knowledge than other members.
When you are going to join a forum, you might need to read a lot. Compared to websites without interactions with their members, you don't have to read lots of replies, comments and discussions in their topics.
