need your help i have a installer of winxp sp2 now i want to burn it in a cd that will boot on startup[startup disk] someone told me that i should have the startup disk in diskettes already done that.

u mean diskette? disket has no use today. its USB now.
allyou have to do is burn the intaller winxp in blank cd using nero burner. choose make a bootable cd. you dont need a diskette.
i think that diskette is for the driver of your cd or dvd rom drive to make your drive function.
if you want to burn it in cd you must copy all the data in your diskette and paste it temporarily on your desktop. then use nero burner. add those files in nero burner and burn it. be sure your driver is a combo drive.
