i have a installer of winxp sp2
now i want to burn it in a cd that will boot on startup[startup disk]
someone told me that i should have the startup disk in diskettes
already done that.i have 6 diskettes which contains startup disk
now my question is how can i burn it into cd that can boot on startup
how can i use the diskettes?
I will give repu for the one who will solve my prob.

u mean diskette? disket has no use today. its USB now.
allyou have to do is burn the intaller winxp in blank cd using nero burner. choose make a bootable cd. you dont need a diskette.
i think that diskette is for the driver of your cd or dvd rom drive to make your drive function.
if you want to burn it in cd you must copy all the data in your diskette and paste it temporarily on your desktop. then use nero burner. add those files in nero burner and burn it. be sure your driver is a combo drive.

if you want to back up your CD, then you can use nero burning tools and then use the diskettes for your boot files. nero will ask for a floppy image and then there you can use the floppy disks to serve as boot files source. alternatively, you can use nLite, an easy to use program (and a freeware too), which can automatically create boot files for your CD..^_^

someone told me that usb cant be use as startup disk. it should be in DISKETTE.

i have my nero installed
where do i go?in bootable cd?
what is nlite?where can i get it?

download nLite from [url=http://www.nliteos.com/]This Site[/url]. copy the content of your windows installer to the harddisk using nlite and create iso file thru nlite also and burn it with any burning software that are able to burn cd iso/image file to your writable cd.
