Anyone tried both? What are your opinions on each. I haven't stayed in a dorm but from what I can tell its a great way to meet friends but also a great way to get stuck with people you can't stand. Dorm is typically pricier then staying at apartments and its also hard to concentrate when staying in dorms. If I were to do it all over..I'd prolly stay in dorms for like a quarter/semester. I don't think I can stay there longer then that...I like my privacy at times.
