Dorm is typically pricier then staying at apartments and its also hard to concentrate when staying in dorms. If I were to do it all over..I'd prolly stay in dorms for like a quarter/semester. I don't think I can stay there longer then that...I like my privacy at times.

i tried both :D i think the apartment is a bit better if you want to study cause there are no rules regarding what time you can eat or what time you have to sleep :). besides you can meet many new people who aren't from your school :)

for me, its better living in apartments when u go for school boarding. y? u can move freely when u are on apartments and u can feel the freedom and independence than living on dormitories, plus when u live on dormitories, expect strict rules for your safety. :D hehe just my opiniion
