We are not hypocrites. We are not fake,so to speak. Our answer is based on our own perceptions.
yours may not be, but pinoys in general are quick to quote statements and other typical answers without actually thinking of other views. most of the answers here are basically the same typical answer. i will not sell myself, etc... but when u look at their friendster profiles, they "sell" themselves! it would have been an admirable answer if i did not see so much of those poses and shots im talking about when referring to "their fs photos"
We say it not because it is what is ought to be, but we say it because it is what we think is ethical and right.
as i said, they have narrow views. for example, nude art? what's so degrading about that? as i mentioned, some nude art are more tasteful than some of their pics with some clothes on. art is not the same as porno. many nude art photos don't even show the private parts. as i said, they have one narrow view and it's the pornographic type nudity as implied by their concern about their reputation. after all, scandals are the new trend especially in the philippines. but as i said, porno-type nude photos are not the only type.
Vanity is a natural attitude. It never degrades oneself. the purpose of which is just to capture his own image.
vanity maybe "natural" but it certainly is not a good thing. although in itself it does not degrade, the type of photos and posing - that degrades! and when im referring to "their fs pics" im referring to their type of posing and camera angle. their poses and their teasing are more degrading and less tasteful than artistic nude photos. i mean i admit, i have some vain photos as u can see in my signature, but it's very tastefully done and edited.
"would you post naked in front of the camera for P1,000,000?"
let me reiterate the word naked. It implies that all your body parts, private or not, should be included in the picture.
actually no... artistic nudes and some nude shots, that don't show private parts in pictures, are still shot with nude models in front of the camera. there are many photoshoots that have models pose "nude in front of the camera" but strategically positioned as to not show the privates. but as i said above, pinoys tend to have one narrow minded view. and they automatically assume porno shoots!
im pinoy by the way and very observant. i just notice trends of how pinoys react and think in general. i mean when you really talk and think ethical situations - you'll find out it's not always black and white even as a moral christian.
