It's Jay Chou's first directorial debut, and for a first timer he did exceptionally well. Also starring Anthony Wong (House of Fury) and Lun-mei Guey (Blue Gate Crossing). Beautiful cinematography and with a nice soundtrack. Though some scenes seem quite corny and boring, especially on the first half, it's gonna pick up towards the ending, when you arrive at the story's twist. Good movie. This film’s recommended for girls.

I delayed watching this movie coz I thought it was a boring teen drama. I was wrong. It turned out, it's a heavy drama about a mother struggling to keep her life to support her abnormal daughter and a guy who comes to their life learns to fall in love with the girl despite her mental disability. It's a tear-jerker you want to forget cos it seems so sad. Nevertheless it’s a good movie.

For someone who hates smoking I was intrigued by the title. To be honest I didn't quite understand everything. I might need to watch it again to understand the politics going on in the story. What I like about the story is that it's not taking sides, but it can clearly give you a good message about picking the right choice.
