Though it's historical in setting, the story is not factual. It's one of the most colorful chinese films you'd see. And one of the most unique in terms of the story, though it has it's flaws. Stars [b]Chao Yun-Fat[/b], [b]Gong Li[/b] and [b]Jay Chou[/b].. It's a must-see for those who love classical Chinese action and drama. It did showed some great works on the CG and SFX. Though I think the story could have been a lot better. I didn't like some of the script, it made some scenes corny. Also, the story became predictable.. it lacks the ability to grip you. Nevertheless, it was good to see this finally. [b]Kou Shibasaki[/b] looked awesome as a firewoman! [b]RATING: 3.5/5[/b]
