[font="Impact"][size=6][color=#A0522D]Chapter Fifteen[/color][/size][/font] [spoiler]"OH MY GOD! STAY THERE! DON'T COME NEAR ME!" Chailleen shouted. Panic shot through Eun Young's body. "CRAP! CHAILLEEN-AH! ARE YOU OKAY?! WHAT'S WRONG?! OH MY GOD! WAIT TILL I GET MY HANDS ON THAT BASTARD!HE'S SO DEAD!" Eun Young started to shout loudly as he banged his fists against the cold metal of the elevator door. A million and one things were running through his mind at the time. What if she's getting violated in that elevator? Or worse....What if help doesn't arrive on time and she gets raped in the elevator with the pervert?! he thought. Eun Young's face turned pale. His stomach churned at the fact that even though she was only a few feet below him- he still couldn't find a way to protect her. Something was pulling on his heart and he was deeply troubled by the fact that he didn't make it in time to catch the same elevator with her. "STAY AWAY FROM HER YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" He managed to shout out. At this point, he was ready to yank out all his hair because the helped he had called for 5 minutes ago still hadn't arrived. He bit his nails as he paced up and down the hallway anxiously. I'm going to kill that perverted bastard..., Eun Young thought. "Sir, you called for maintanence?" A guy wearing a cap and a jumpsuit appeared in front of him. Eun Young nodded at the bits and pieces of english that he could manage to understand. "My...girlfriend...is...stuck in...elebator...."A huge frown was apparent on his forehead as he tried his best to communicate in english. The maintanence guy seemed to get what he was saying eventhough his english was broken. "Faster, please." Eun Young managed to say again. 15 minutes later...back on the 13th floor... [AN: Switching back to Chailleen's POV] I wanted to crawl and hug the carpeted ground as I watched the doors of the elevator open. I met Park Eun Young's blank stare. His eyes shifted from me to the hot guy. Suddenly, his eyes were filled with rage that I hadn't seen before. Walking in to the elevator, he grabbed the hot guy by his shirt and dragged him out. In a flash, Eun Young's fist met the guy's cheek. The hot guy stumbled back and fell on to the carpeted ground. "You pervert!" Eun Young glared at him. The hot guy who was clearly confused -rubbed his cheek as he looked up at Eun Young. "Yah! Park Eun Young! What's wrong with you?!" I rushed to the hot guy and helped him up. "WHY THE HECK ARE YOU HELPING HIM UP?!" Eun Young shouted at me, he looked confused. "Why did you punch him?" I asked. "Are you stupid? Are you really a fool?!" Eun Young's usually white face had turned red because of his anger. "Why the hell are you acting this way?!" I finally snapped. "A GUY EFFIN' MOLESTS YOU IN THE ELEVATOR AND YOU'RE ASKING ME WHY I'M ACTING THIS WAY?!" "...what are you talking about?" Now, I was confused. I looked up and Eun Young who just scoffed and turned away. "...I think that...you are misunderstanding the situation..."The hot guy started to speak. Eun Young turned and shot him a glare. "...fvck off when I'm saying this nicely..." Eun Young said softly. "Eun Young-ah...let's go..." I tugged on his wrist gently. Giving me a dirty look, he flung my hand off his and walked off. At his gesture I couldn't help but feel a bit hurt... The look he gave me before he walked off...was one that people showed when they were disgusted by something... "I'm really sorry about that..."I turned and bowed quickly at the hot guy before running off to chase after Eun Young. The only way out of the 13th floor was the elevator and stairs... ...Don't tell me that dummy took the stairs.... I quickly ran towards the end of the hallway where the stair well was and rushed down 26 flights of stairs before finally reaching the lobby. I searched the lobby area and still couldn't find him... This place was huge and it led to so many different directions that I, myself was feeling lost. "Noona!" I heard a familiar voice call out. I turned around and saw Jae Yung heading towards me. "Yung, have you seen Eun Young?" I asked quickly as I continued to look around. "He said he was going out for a bit." Jae Yung raised an eyebrow. "Where?" "I don't know...maybe downstairs to the aquarium...that's where he was headed..." Jae Yung replied. Before he could say anything else, I quickly headed down the stairs to find the aquarium. I saw signs for 'The Dig' and headed in the direction of it. [AN: The Dig is located in the Royal Towers of The Atlantis Resort - by far one of the best/nicest underwater aquarium's I've EVER seen.] My heart was pounding against my chest... I didn't know why he was so mad... But...I also didn't know why I wanted to find him so desperately... I also didn't understand why...I hated fighting with him... I just knew that...I wanted to see him at that moment... I just knew that...I wanted to tell him that he might have misunderstood the situation... As I walked around aimlessly in the ridiculously large underwater aquarium, my eyes suddenly drew me to a familiar figure. Not wanting to scare him or cause him to run off... I kept quiet and slowly headed towards him. I watched silently as he looked up at the large manta-ray swimming gracefully right above our heads.... "Park Eun Young..." I called out softly. His upper body stiffened but he didn't turn around to face me. "What?" His voice was cold and bitter. "Why are you acting like that?" I found myself asking. God, I seem so pathetic right now. "You're making a fool out of me." I heard him say. His voice was not cold...this time around he sounded...unsure...almost...as if he were afraid. "What do you mean?" "Forget it..." He mumbled as he finally turned around. His arm brushed past mine softly as he attempted to walk away. "...Don't go..." I grabbed a hold of his wrist and pulled him back towards me gently. As I looked up at him, his eyes softened a little- letting his guard down. I found my steady hands slowy reaching out and caressing his cheek. I felt his hand on top of mine before he slowly pulled my hand away from his face. I frowned. Smiling, he lowered his head. I felt his large hands cupping my cheeks gently...pulling me against him. He waited a good couple of seconds for me to pull away but when he realized I wasn't going to...his soft lips slowly reached down and claimed mine. My back met the thick glass of the aquarium as he pressed his body against mine. I could feel my arms slowly wrapping themselves around his neck as I clung on to him as if I needed him for support. His kisses that were soft and sweet at first became deeper and deeper until I felt myself gasping for air. I could feel him chuckling softly against my lip before he pulled away slowly. A smile started to form on his lips and I felt him touching my lips softly before leaning in and pressing his lips softly against mine once more. Each kiss that he placed on my lips...drove me crazy... He left me wanting more... Wanting more of anything that he was willing to give. I don't think I could even explain in words....what this guy was doing to my heart... I slowly found myself breaking the kiss. Even though no words were spoken between us after the kiss...I could feel that something between us had changed... I realized that... Maybe...just maybe I wanted to be with Park Eun Young... I allowed him to take my hand as he led the way out of the aquarium. Quickly, I was reminded of what happened before on the 13th floor. I stopped walking. Eun Young turned around with a frown on his face. "I really think you...misunderstood what happened before in the elevator..." I said quickly. I bit my lips. In my mind I had prepared myself for the bitching I was about to receive but Eun Young stayed quiet as if he were thinking. "He didn't...touch you?" Eun Young asked as he moved closer to me, my hand still in his. "No...what makes you say that?" My eyes widened at the thought. Not that I would mind.....because he was so hot and all...but....that's not the point! "You were screaming at the bastard to stay away from you..." At what he said...something flashed in my mind... "I...was screaming at the cockcroach..." I mumbled as my cheeks turned slightly red. "What?!" "There was a cockcroach and I got scared...so I started to scream and shout...." I explained. Eun Young's face turned pale as he released my hand and ran his hand through his hair. "...so....I punched the guy...when I should actually be punching...a FVCKING COCKCROACH?!" He snapped as he shot me a glare. "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER?!" "I tried to! But you ran off and didn't let me explain!" "You should've tried harder!" Eun Young's cheeks flushed red. I personally think it was because he was dying from embarassment that he over-reacted about the whole situation. I wanted to laugh because the way he was acting was absolutely adorable but decided to keep my mouth shut instead. After arguing all the way back to our hotel room, we decided that we should get changed before heading downstairs to grab a bite and check out the swimming facilities. After changing into my bikini, I quickly threw on a pair of denim shorts and a black tank top. Walking out of the washroom, I saw Eun Young lying down on the bed flicking through TV channels. "You ready?" I asked as I sat down on the edge of the bed. Shutting off the TV, he quickly got off the bed and slipped his flip flops on. "Your brothers are going to meet us down at the pool." Eun Young said as he opened the door for me and I headed out. "How-" Before I could even ask how he knew, he answered my question. "While you were taking a million years in the washroom...Jae Yung called on the room phone." Once again I managed to find myself in front of the elevator. Eun Young had to practically drag me into the elevator with him. I was reminded of the kiss that we shared earlier at the aquarium. I could feel my heart beating faster at the thought of us kissing. We stayed quiet all the way till we reached one of the pools at the resort. "Oppa!" I shouted as I spotted him and gave him a quick wave. I ran towards where they were and saw that Eun Mi unni and Hana unni were all rubbing sunscreen on their boyfriends' backs. One word. AWKWARD. "Uh...where's Jae Yung?" I asked as I looked around for any sign of the little monkey. "He ran off after seeing some hot asian girl..." Eun Mi unni laughed as she continued to squirt more sunscreen into her palm and rub it on oppa's back. I wanted to puke. O M F G... That means... EUN YOUNG AND I ARE STUCK HERE WITH COUPLES! DAMN IT, THAT MONKEY IS GOING TO BE SO DEAD WHEN HE SHOWS UP! My thoughts were interrupted when I felt Eun Young placing something into my hand. I looked down and noticed it was a bottle of sunscreen. I blinked as I looked at the bottle of sunscreen in my hand and then looked back up at him. Don't tell me he- "Put it on for me." I heard him say. My mouth dropped open and I just continued to stare at him. He gave me a weird look before pulling me towards the tanning chair beside Jung In oppa's. He sat down and signaled for me to rub the lotion on his back. "Do it yourself." I managed to say. "Hurry up." Eun Young muttered as he removed his white shirt. Frowning, I squirted some of the lotion into my hands and rubbed it on his back. I could see Eun Mi and Hana unni both winking at me. I shot them a glare and stuck my tongue out at them. After applying the lotion on for him, I quickly rubbed some on my shoulders and upper body. The oppa's already made it inside the pool with their pathetic attempt of 'the cannonball splash' while Eun Mi unni and Hana unni took their time getting in to the pool. I quickly took off my shorts and tank top. "Where are you going with that?! Put on your clothes!" Eun Young scrambled to grab a towel, in exactly 3 seconds he wrapped the towel tightly around me. "Who the hell goes swimming WITH clothes on?" I shot him a glare before trying to wiggle my way out of the towel. "Let me out!" I whined. "No. Not until you put clothes on." "Eun Mi unni and Hana unni are in bikini's too! Go wrap a towel around them!" "They're not my problem." "AND I AM?!" I snapped out of frustration. "I'm SWEATING. IT'S HOT." Eun Young didn't budge. "What are you both doing? Get in here!" I heard oppa shouting as he eyed Eun Young and I. I took the chance to elbow Eun Young in his stomach before removing the towel and quickly headed towards the pool. Before I could even jump in, I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. My feet were slowly lifted off the ground and I squirmed around. "PUT ME DOWN!" "Two can play this game too, you know?" Eun Young's deep voice tickled my ear. Keeping one hand around my waist, he used his other to swipe my legs up. I wrapped my arm around his neck; afraid that I would fall. "PARK EUN YOUNG!" I screamed. In a second, I felt myself being hurled through air and I started to panic- afraid that I would hit ground. But instead I landed under water with a big splash. After managing to swim up to the surface I glared at Eun Young. He was practically on the ground dying of laughter. "YAH! PARK EUN YOUNG!" Jung In oppa beat me to it. Eun Young immediately stopped laughing and jumped into the pool. Once he made it into the pool, I managed to splash a large amount of water in his face as he surfaced. Eun Young quickly went back under water and I felt his hands grabbing onto my waist gently as he pushed me further into the deep end of the pool. I laughed a bit because I was ticklish, I tried to push him away but he ended up just pulling me down with him. His arms slowly wrapped themselves around my waist as he pulled me closer to him. I giggled a little because his hair looked crazy under water. Quickly, he placed a kiss on my lips before pulling us both up for air. Wiping the water out of my eyes, I quickly checked to see if the oppa's saw. Thankfully...they didn't. "Should we go check out the water slides?" Eun Young asked as he looked at me with a smile. "You wanna?" "Only if you want to..." Eun Young replied but the smile on his face stayed. I nodded as I swam towards the ladder and climbed out of the pool. "Where are you guys going?" I heard Sang Il oppa ask. "We're going to check out the slides." Eun Young shouted before grabbing a towel and wrapping it around me. I quickly dried myself off and tied my hair up into a bun. I didn't want my hair flying in a million directions while we were on a slide. "Let's go." Eun Young said as he led the way. I quickly followed after him. "Let's go on that one!" I pointed to the one that had an almost 90 degree drop. "That looks a bit......." Eun Young's words trailed off as he looked at the drop. "PLEASEEEEEEEEE" I said as nicely as I could. "No..." "Come on!" "No." "PLEASE!" "NO." "............" I pouted. "EESH, CRAP! FINE." Eun Young finally gave in. I grinned happily as I linked my arm around his and started to pull him towards the slide. "You forgot." I heard him say softly. "Forgot what?" I raised an eyebrow. "That...I'd rather have a girl holding my hand instead of holding on to my arm." Eun Young took my hand off his arm and placed my hand in his. "Let's go." He cleared his throat as he held on to my hand tightly as we made our way to the line-up for the ride. 'The Leap of Faith' That was what the ride was called... I felt some how that the name of the ride was hinting at me....to take my own leap of faith and confess that I actually have feelings for him.... We spent the rest of the afternoon playing on the slides...half the time I had to beg him to go on the slides with me... Even though he whined and complained the whole afternoon...I knew that he had just as much fun as I did. When dinner time finally rolled around...I'd made up my mind about telling Eun Young how I felt about him... For the first time in a long while, I started to get nervous... My palms felt sweaty and I couldn't concentrate on what I wanted to say to him later on... I couldn't eat my dinner because I was worried about how he would react... I was scared that I would get rejected... Then I'd just be hurt all over again... "Let's go for a walk," Eun Young suggested. "Yeah! I want to go too!" Jae Yung chirped happily. Eun Young shoved Jae Yung's face out of the way and said, "Not you." I laughed as Eun Young began to drag me away from a pouting Jae Yung. We walked in silence for a while until we arrived at the beach. I could smell the salty ocean water and hear the waves crashing against the shore... Taking a deep breath in, I was about to finally blab out that I've liked him since...I don't even know when bu- My thoughts were cut short and I felt my ankle getting caught in what looked like a random ass log on the fvcking beach! In 2 seconds, I fell face first on to the sand. "AISH!" I shrieked as I dusted the sand off my chin. "You REALLY need to be more careful..." Eun Young smiled as he helped me up and dusted me off. I bit my lip... "Eun Young-ah..." I called out softly. When he turned to look at me I quickly said, "Never mind." O M F G THAT WAS A PERFECT MOMENT RIGHT THERE YOU STUPID SHITHEAD, SHIN CHAILLEEN! "Are you okay?" Eun Young asked with a worried look on his face. "I'm fine..." "Shin Chailleen..." "What?" "I hate you..." At what he said I immediately looked up at him. I felt a pang of pain shooting through my heart. "I hate the way...you're almost always right...I hate the way you're able to see right through me...I hate it when you smile...but I find myself hating it even more when I see you cry.......I hate it that...when I'm not around you...you're all that I think about....you're all that I worry about....I don't...I really don't know why...even as I force myself to push you away....I feel like my feet are rooted so deep into the ground...forcing me to stay........" My heart stopped... "Park Eun Young..."I called out softly. He didn't look at me though. "I really like you..." "I like you too..." "No I mean..." I felt frustrated because I didn't think he understood the feelings that I had for him were more then friendly feelings. "No. I like you. I like you as in I like you MORE than a friend..." I tried to explain. "I know...I do too..." And the moment he looked into my eyes...it was like everything fell into place. He smiled just a little. "You're not the hottest girl out there...you're also not the slimmest...you're not the fittest girl out there...you can't even walk up a flight of stairs without losing your breath and huffing and puffing...and sometimes you even spit while you're talking...you also talk while you're eating...but...the problem is...I'm feeling a bit helpless....that I can't stop thinking about you...that I can't get you out of my mind..." He paused. "But...as of right now...I don't know if I'm ready for a relationship..." I don't know how this guy managed to make me so happy one second and bring my mood completely down the next... "How do you know that you're not ready when we haven't even tried?" I managed to get some what courageous and decided to test him. "You'd be much better off with someone else..." Eun Young said softly as he sat down on the sand. I sat down next to him. "What if I wanted it to be you..." "I don't know...I can't make you happy..." "...you have got to be the biggest fool I've ever met..." I really felt like laughing...but I felt my eyes brimming with tears. He didn't speak though... "You're sitting here giving me excuses because you're scared." I continued. "It's not that...-" Eun Young tried to say. "Yes it is. I bet you're going to tell me that you're scared that I'm going to get hurt out of all this...you're scared that you might not be good enough for me...but you're being really selfish...because even though you're going to tell me that you're scared to hurt me...the one you're truly really scared of hurting is no one other then yourself." I bit my lips and stayed quiet for a moment. "You're really bad...Park Eun Young..." "...Chaii shin-ah..." I could hear him calling me softly as he placed a hand on my shoulder. Brushing him off coldy, I got up. "You have two choices now. You can sit here and wallow in your own self pity...and realize that you've just lost someone good because of your low self-esteem...or you can try to make this work." I said softly. I watched as he sighed and rubbed his face with his hands. I stood there for a good minute...when I finally realized that he wasn't going to make a decision...I turned around and walked away. "You had me at the time...we were at the park...the time where you ran like a mad woman towards Jae Yung and shielded him from the hit..."I heard him saying loudly. I stopped walking. "After that night, I realized that you were actually crazier then I thought. But apparently...I'm the one who's even crazier...to fall for someone like you in the first place..." He continued. His voice got clearer and clearer. I grinned happily as I turned around and ran as fast I could to where he was standing. I threw myself into his arms and hugged him tightly. I felt him pulling me closer towards him. "I don't know if your offer still stands but...I'll try..."Eun Young said softly and I nodded happily. "I like you..."He whispered softly into my ear before burrying his head into the side of my neck and placing a soft kiss there. The only thing that I could do was smile... I felt so happy that he was willing to try and that....he felt the same way I did... So for the first time ever... I think that was the longest time I had ever smiled[/spoiler]
