During a recent press conference held in Beijing, Han announced two concerts to be held in Beijing and his plans to promote his album in Taiwan next month. The 26-year-old star looked spirited talking about the significance of the concerts as it will be his first solo performance. The concerts are also an opportunity for him to showcase the songs in his new album. Han's lawsuit against Star Museum Entertainment (SME) filed was also brought up during the press conference. Home to top-selling Korean artistes such as BoA, Girls' Generation and Super Junior, SME is one of Korea's biggest names in showbiz. Han signed under the record label as a member of Super Junior in 2005 and was the first native Chinese artiste to debut under SME. He later became the leader of Super Junior-M, a sub-unit of Super Junior which focuses entirely on the Chinese market. Late last year, Han filed a lawsuit against SME for unfair elements present in their contract. It was said that Han might have to pay close to 2 billion Won (S$2.33m) in damages in order to terminate the contract. To that, Han expressed confidence that he wouldn't lose. While he emphasized his gratitude to the former employer for his claim to fame, Han revealed that his decision to fly solo was because he wanted to "sing from the heart". As a former member of Super Junior, Han says he has been keeping in contact with his former colleagues and they too, are happy for him. He also hopes that they would be able to attend his upcoming concert in Beijing.
