And he IS a policeman, so he knows that it's not right to resist arrest (it wasn't even arrest at first, he was just invited to the precinct so he won't interfere with the negotiation anymore.) It was the media's fault, knowing (common sense, of course) there's a TV inside the freaking bus and they still documented that part! He was wild because there was MEDIA.
