my debut last year was supposed to be just a little dinner party. but then as the preparations go by, my relatives were so excited about it and they even contributed like my uncle and his family bought the cake, my other uncle paid for the invitations and give aways, my aunt paid for half of the catering, my father's friend owned a sound system set-up thingy and gave us discounts, my mom's cousin have his own photo&video coverage studio and he also gave us huge discounts, then the venue also gave discounts because the caretaker was the dressmaker's (she made my gown and my cousin's dresses) nephew. All in all, the party was possible because of the HUGE discounts
