[b]NOTE: if you find this useful, you can give me +repu. lol i think, making an animated avatar tutorial would help all newbies out there... well, i just did it.. to make this tutorial you need: pics adobe photoshop and imageready and patience.. [/b] click file > new (to make a new file) [img]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o51/dianne_dynasty12/x.jpg[/img] next, change the width and height size to 100.. [img]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o51/dianne_dynasty12/untitled-17.jpg[/img] then, click file > open choose whatever pics you like to put in your avatar.. (for my avatar, i choose 3 pics of mine) [img]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o51/dianne_dynasty12/untitled-18.jpg[/img] copy and paste your pic/s to the 100x100 layer that you made using the rectangular marquee tool. [img]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o51/dianne_dynasty12/untitled-19.jpg[/img] to copy, drag your pic/s using the rectangular marquee tool. just like this.. and press ctrl+C.. to paste, click the 100x100 layer and press ctrl+V.. got it? (in my case, i copy my 3 pics and paste it to the 100x100 layer.) (this eye-like button indicates layer visibility) [img]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o51/dianne_dynasty12/untitled-23.jpg[/img] proceed to adobe imageready press ctrl+shift+M.. click this [img]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o51/dianne_dynasty12/untitled-24.jpg[/img] to duplicate current frame. (in my case, i clicked it 3 times because i have 3 layers to animate) [img]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o51/dianne_dynasty12/untitled-25.jpg[/img] click the first frame. [img]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o51/dianne_dynasty12/untitled-26.jpg[/img] then click the eye-like button of the pic you what first to be seen in your animated avatar. [img]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o51/dianne_dynasty12/untitled-27.jpg[/img] after that, click the second frame and click the eye-link button of the pic you what next to be seen.. and click the eye-like button of the pic you used in the first frame so it will not appear on the second frame.. that you and so on and so fort. got it?
