[i]note: if this tutorial do not fit here, or any tutorial about this already exist... you can delete this.. just tell me, ok?[/i] this is my own way of animating text.. just wanna share to you guys on how... coz many is asking for this... ok... now you know how to make a simple sig, ~you don't know yet? see this link: [url]http://theftalk.com/t11533-%28Simple%29-Siggy-Tutorial.html[/url] now, let's animate the text.. i will only give you idea on how to make the text animated ok? so, just apply this idea in making your own graphics... what you need: 1. adobe photoshop (any version i think) 2. image ready (can be in adobe photoshop but much better in imageready ) 3. imagination 4. creativity 5. patience.. lots of it.. ok now... let's start 1. first, open your adobe photoshop and make a new document.. wakokok... (ctrl+N for the shortcut) now, set your own ideal image height and width... make sure it's in PIXEL not in INCHES!!! and you can choose if your background is transparent or white.. now, my example would be for a siggy.. i chose color white background... click OK [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/1.jpg[/img] now, it will look like this: [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/2.jpg[/img] 2. now I'll fill the background with plain black with [b]paint bucket tool[/b] [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/3.jpg[/img] 3. and its time for the text.... click the [b]text tool[/b] [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/4.jpg[/img] now, create a text layer [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/5.jpg[/img] select first the color of the text you want.. and then type your text inside the text box... [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/6.jpg[/img] you can move your text with the [b]move tool [/b] 4. it’s time for coloring!!!! Yey! First, duplicate the text layer.. on how many text you’ll color.. Right click on the name of the text layer, then choose [b]duplicate layer[/b] [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/7.jpg[/img] I suggest change or put numbers on the duplicated name so you will not be confused.. [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/8-1.jpg[/img] Pick other color for a blinking effect… I chose a lighter color of pink.. In my case… I want to animate all of the letters… So, I made 8 layers… Now, click on the first layer. Then click on the text.. Highlight the desired text then click on the color you want to change the color: [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/9.jpg[/img] repeat these steps for every letter.. make sure the first text layer is not visible.. how? Now, move or open your image in image ready (shift+ctrl+M for the shortcut) [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/11.jpg[/img] click on Windows>Animate then, the animation window will appear.. [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/12.jpg[/img] in the animation box, click on the duplicate current frame I will make 8 coz I duplicated 8 text layers [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/13.jpg[/img] in the animation box, click the first frame then, select the first layer.. [img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb21/zephyr14_photo/14.jpg[/img] now, do the same for the next frame.. make sure the first text layer is hidden so the desired image is visible.. Now, let’s make it mooooove… Just press the [b]play button[/b] in the animation box You see iit now moving? Yehey! good work.. now, how to adjust the speed of every frame? Simple! Just click on the [b]0 sec.[/b] then choose your desired time.. 7. now, how to save?
