Hello everyone! I'm just glad to be back. Hello readers - old, silent and new ones. I couldn't wait for my DSL, so I just bought a card, got a phone wire and inserted it at my LT.. then voila! An internet connection appeared. Hahaha. I'm happy to inform you that I'm going to update - finally. Thank you so much for putting up with my long interval of updates. Thank you so much! [hr] [b]Chapter 11[/b] I looked at Dad unbelievingly. "No.. No.. N-" I shook my head. "B-bakit? Bakit hindi pwede?" My tears started to run down from my eyes. "Hindi ka pa pwedeng magkaboyfriend." He said calmly but firm. I turned around but then I saw Mom standing at the kitchen door. That's when it hit me. "Mom?" "Yana.. I'm sorry-" It hurt like hell. It feels like I've been betrayed by my own flesh and I SHE REALLY DID. I closed my eyes and ran to my room. Umiyak ako ng umiyak. Bakit si Mommy? Bakit kelangan niyang sabihin kay Daddy? Bakit ayaw ni Daddy? This is just too much. *tok* *tok* *tok* "Yana.. buksan mo ang pinto.." I just kept silent at umiyak pa ng todo. "Anak.. let me explain.. I know you feel bad.. I know you feel betrayed.. but Yana.. let me explain. Hear my side first.." I stood up and open the door habang pinapahidan ang mga luha. When I opened the door, tumakbo ulit ako sa kama at umupo. Umupo naman si Mommy sa dulo ng kama ko. "Ask me what happened." She said. "Why did you tell Dad about it?" "He asked kung bakit lagi kang wala dito sa bahay. You know, I don't like lying to your Dad." "Sana tinakpan mo nalang muna." "I did. I keep avoiding his questions. But then, he kept asking me.. until nakorner niya na talaga ako. I couldn't lie." "I don't get it." "Yana.. it's like Rhys asking you if you still love him.. and you know, you don't and you don't want to hurt his feelings by saying no, so you try to avoid the questions.. until the time that you really have to say the truth before it gets worse." I get it. A moment of deafening silence. "I know you're smart and old enough to understand these stuffs. I'm sorry." She rubbed my back and stood up to go to her room. I knew what Mom meant. I don't get it though why Dad has to ask me to cut off my relationship with Rhys. Okay naman grades ko.. and okay naman ang buhay ko - mas okay compare noon. At least now, I have what we call "social activities" outside sa school. So all in all, Rhys had been a good influence to me. So why this? I cried and cried and cried. [hr] Tuesday, 6:15am "I'm going." I said to Mom and went outside para sumakay ng car. I was surprise to find Dad sitting at the driver's seat. Oh come on, bakit kelangang ihatid niya ako? "Dad.." "Sakay na." "Asan si Manong Fred?" I looked around and saw Manong Fred watering the plants. Napatingin ulit ako kay Dad bago umakyat ng sasakyan. He started the engine and after a minute or so, we were on the road palabas ng subdivision. "Starting this day forward, ako na ang maghahatid sa iyo. And susunduin ka tuwing hapon ni Manong Fred mo. Bawal sumakay ng bus or ng jeep. Bawal lumabas ng bahay ng walang permiso galing sakin." Tumahimik lang ako, pero sa totoo lang, gustong-gusto ko ng sumabog. Hindi pa ako nakakarecover sa nangyari kagabi.. tapos, ito na naman? "Ahhh.. parang preso?" I asked out of the blue. Dad looked at me. "Hindi. More like, presidente at pinoprotektahan." He said firmly. I kept quiet. Nang dumating kami sa school, diretso lang akong bumaba sa kotse, ni hindi man lang ako humalik. I went inside the class and I saw Bea, kaya nag-usap kami. "So.. panu na yan? Alam na ba ni Rhys?" "Hindi pa.." Napayuko ako. "Panu na iyan? Hindi mo naman pwedeng suwayin ang Dad mo. You definitely know what will happen if you do." "I know.. but.." "Yaan mo nalang muna. Lay-low ka nalang muna." Bigla namang pumasok ang teacher kaya di na kami nakapag-usap pa. Nung hapon na, paglabas ko, nakita ko na kaagad si Manong Fred na nakapark sa gilid ng gate. Then I also saw Rhys with Vince sa kabilang waiting shed. I waited for quite some time. I texted Rhys na pumasok muna sa school nila at papuntahin si Vince saken. He replied bakit raw. Sabi ko, sige na, trust me. Ginawa niya naman and Vince came up to me. "What's happening?" He asked suspiciously. "Wala naman." I smiled. "Samahan moko sandali." "Oookkaay?" He followed me at pumunta ako kay Manong Fred. Ngumiti naman si Vince sa kanya. Magkakilala na kasi sila noon pa. Fmily friend, ika nga. "Manong! Kumusta na?" bati ni Vince sa kanya. "Uy Vicente!" iyan tawag sa kanya ni Manong. "Manong.. kain lang kami ni Vince. Pwede po ba? Pakisabi nalang kay Dad. Kay Vince nalang ako magpapahatid." I smiled. Napatingin naman sakin si Vince. Siniko ko kaagad siya. "Uh.. yeah, hahatid ko nalang siya." He said. Umuo naman si Manong. Then nung medyo nakalayo na siya, humarap sakin si Vince. "Just what the hell was that?" "Okay, let me explain." Bigla namang tumakbo samin si Rhys. "Anong nangyayari?" "Wala.. I just want to spend some time with my two most favorite guys in the world." I grinned and I slid my arms at the two of them.. you know, yung parang ikakasal.
