A twister? Just one time. I've been though many more hurricanes (typhoons), though.
When I was about 7 or 8 I was living with my grandparents when a tornado came very, very close to their house. Within about 500 yards (or 1500 feet). It was pretty scary.
However, I've been through more damage from hurricanes, though. Actually, I'll be uploading some pictures that I took after Hurricane Isabel (2002 or 2003 or 2004) hit my old hometown of Virginia. I have almost 100 pictures from down at the oceanfront the day it came on shore, damage to my home during the storm (pics taken afterwards) and also some pics from the oceanfront the day after the storm.
