try to click the right mouse button and click open

i got this problem too in my laptop once...
i just reboot my laptop...
let it rest for a few hours and it works 100% again..
hhmm..
if u cant open any application.. why you can still post here??

the only application i can open/run is mozilla firefox... the rest is stuck...i tried to reboot my laptop many times but then nothing happened... T___T huhu help!!!.... i can still open/view other files like images and music...

what brand of laptop are you using bro?
mine is a Acer aspire 5110
I'm a vista user too & i've encounter that problem already.
i cant open applications and my icons on the desktop are not even showing.
what i did is i restore my computer to its original settings
if you still have your laptops manual you can check it the instruction there.

You cant open application?
Hmmm looks like you have worms and trojans on your pc
Not sure but try using windows one live care and scan your pc
I have the same problem just a while ago and i was able to fix it
