Keep a distance please. Painful. " I stared at the writings for a minute and chuckled. [i]The penmanship sucks[/i], I thought. Napaisip ako ng konti. Naisip ko kaya siguro pangit yung penmanship kasi, galit siya, at diniinan niya. funny . I realized he can feel it too. I mean, jealousy. After mapeh-dismissal-I saw Melvin standing outside the door. As usual, he's waiting for me. And he's waiting for an explanation or somewhat like that. When I took a few steps forward, I realized his eyes were narrowed. "ditching, eh?" I teased. I'm trying to distract him from asking me about the hold-thing awhile ago. "mm. can I ask you something?" "sure, why not." I felt my heart jumped. "with lance," he took a deep breath, and exhaled, "are you... you know, really that close??" "yeah. why? jealous? " i answered quickly. I can't hide my teasing-smile now. XD I waited for an answer.. Staring at him with my big-circled eyes. "oh, it's getting late, let's go.. You know your mother." he suddenly pulled me and he started the engine. The silence killed me. I sighed and pouted. I opened the so-called cabinets of his car. I found a lot of papers, and started reading.. I saw his test papers, with excellent grades, perfect. I saw his previous cards, his baby pictures that made me laugh-he just rolled his eyes, "whatever tyna"- and I took one of them. I placed it inside my pocket for a remembrance. The papers began to scatter and I was panicking, knowing that he'll be upset. But something caught my attention. I saw a medical certificate? I think.. "wow, you want to be a nurse??" i asked. I stared at him, he was confused. "huh?" he rolled his eyes and stared at the paper i am holding. "give me that." he grabbed the paper. but I stopped him. "wait, wait, wait!!" i laughed. "what's with this anyway? " I looked at the paper for a second and stared back at him. "tyna, get off.." now he's serious. I saw my house at the right side. "oh fine. " I rolled my eyes and went outside. I waved goodbye, I guess he didn't see that. I went inside, hearing the same question in my mind. [i]What's that stupid med paper anyway?[/i] I got inside. Shaking my head really hard, looking at the blank windows, looking deeper, more over, looking for an answer to my one and only question. It's really bothering me. Why?? I heard the door open, and what a surprise, he was there. I looked at him, open-mouthed. I stared at him for a long time. Looking at him from head.. to toe.. "w-o-w " I emphasized every letter of the word. “what?” he raised one eyebrow. “nothing” I smiled briefly and grabbed his hand. "you look.." he coughed, "happy.." "bakit naman? dapat ba...??" I tapped his shoulder. "hinde.. I mean, mmh, that's good." he smiled at me and kissed my forehead. The engine roared to life. Hindi ko alam kung saan talaga ako dadalhin ng lalakeng to. I kept asking, but he kept on ignoring me. I know there was something wrong. I looked at his face, then his eyes. His eyebrows were narrowed as if there was something behind it. It kept me bothered. "hmmm.." I said while playing at my fingers. ".." wow. he ignored me. I decided to shut my mouth instead of babbling and babbling with no one listening. The place was too familiar. Of course it is. The place where he first held my hand, and said that he love me [i]as a friend.[/i] I chuckled briefly and realized that I was already crying.. "oh men.. " I snorted, tapping his chest. "what??" He rolled his eyes, wiping my tears with his handkerchief. "tactics mo. kala mo ah. " I laughed and placed my head in his chest, hearing his heartbeat. I sighed. There was something wrong in his heartbeat. Fast. Very fast. He exhaled slowly and finally said my favorite words, "I love you.." I placed my arms around his waist, I held it so tight. "I think you already know how I felt about you.." I smiled. "say it.. please?? and-" I heard him chuckle.. But I cut if off.. ".. and how things go wrong whenever you're not around.." "please??" he whispered. oh whatever. : I released myself and looked up to see his expression. "ok. i love you. happy?" ouch! he pinched my cheeks. "I'll be with you forever, maski na mamatay ako." he said and kissed my forehead again. I stared at him blankly, and slapped him. di naman malakas. "I'll be the happiest man on earth. know that? " "huh? why? aren't you happy??.. now??" he touched my lips. "hmm, not really. i'm not contented. " his face turned blank after laughing. I frowned. "promise me you'll be Kirsten Rhae Costudia-" "I am and-" "i'm not yet finish. Costudia-Allivares." I smiled at him. "I promise. " "really?? even though..?? lam mo na yun. Yung mga epal sa mundo.." "yun? well, my world revolves around you. ano pa?" I was challenging him. but it was different, I thought he will smile. he looked very far. he looked everywhere. his eyes didn't stopped from moving. "please be ready for this tyna.." he said sadly and then smiled. "what??" he sighed. he looked at me. His eyes were in deep pain. I don't know the reason. I'm totally confused. "basta, promise me that you'll be ready. that you will not do anything that will put you in danger.. well, I know you won't.. " "HUH?! when?? what?? are you kidding? look, it's not funny melvin. cut it out, please, i'm begging." "[b]I'm not. I'm serious. I just don't know when. All i know is, well, it's near. Nearer than I really expected.[/b]" he smiled at me and he started walking. He left me there, confused and puzzled. I think alam ko na kung ano tinutukoy niya. Pero I'm not sure. No. Mali ako. Hindi yun. Hinding hindi mangyayari sakanya yun. Diba? Diba?! Diba Lord?!
