"Really?" I laughed my ass. What a jerk. After laughing, I looked him sharply.
"Yes."
"Then what the hell are you waiting for?" I really laughed. He ran to me and we walked together along the very cloudy road.
I can't see home yet. And Felix is still here, beside me. We didn't talk, and if we did, what would be the discussion all about, right? I pulled out my iPOD from my bag and started playing my favorite songs.
"You saved my life." He whispered in the air. "Pardon?" I asked, trying to clarify what he just said. I pulled out my earphones to hear the words. "You saved my life." He said again and flipped his perfect hair. "Ah." I glanced away. "Pity." I muttered.
"Thanks." He whispered then ran away from me. I was shocked, where did he go? What would I do here alone? He left me behind! Darn it. "Oh no..." I tried to embrace the umbrella I'm holding. In a few minutes, I saw him running. Sweat covered his whole face. "Here." He reached a bottle to me. "Thank you." He smiled then wiped his sweat. "What's this for?" I asked.
"A gift . Friends?" I didn't take the bottle he was giving, and he noticed that. So he immediately put the bottle inside my bag. "Friends?" He repeated. "Uh, friends." He smiled to me. A smile that tilt the ending of his eyes. It was beautiful. Well, he's beautiful and I must admit, his voice was a playing melody in my ears. I don't know but I'm starting to love his voice. His voice only. Yes, [i]only.[/i]
"I need to go. Urgent. Sorry." The words came out very quick from my mouth. I don't even know what's the reason I'm killing this wonderful moment off. "I'll take you home." He held the umbrella. "It's a long way." I declined. "I don't care. Friends, right?" He smiled. I nodded.
Should I really accept this friendship? I'm afraid I should not, never. But what? What can I do? He's so exquisite and all. He's cool. He's wonderful. [i]And He's perfect[/i], the voice in my mind agreed. Okay. This is my final decision. We're friends. There's only one exception, I should not fall in love with a boy. Because once I fell, I knew it would be difficult to stand, and it would be difficult for me to return from my real self.
We rode a bus. It wasn't difficult to sit beside him anymore, unlike before. I think it was normal. He told me everything about him, except the [i]dark souled[/i] thingy. I still wonder what that thing meant. Anyway, since it was really a long way, I tried to close my eyes for a moment.
"Well. I just turned eighteen and," I tried to listen though my mind was really blank. "Wait, are you sleepy?" He asked and looked closer. I opened my eyes slightly and whispered, "Yes, I am." And there, I closed my eyes; shut. Then his warm hand pushed my head to his shoulder. It didn't bother me, so I continued dreaming.
