but GIRLS needs to confess so that the guy
will know if the girl liked them so that they will court.. haha..

yeah,,i also think that boys are the one to confess their feelings..but, when i watch anime..the one who confess their feelings are the girls..(well mostly on valentine's)hehe^^ why is that?

I think both should do the "confess" thing.
Girls and boys should know if the oposite sex like them.
But courting is the job for boys..

Actually, it depends on the culture and the situation. Like in Japan, they have this valentine's day where girls give cookies to the guys they like, then they will have this "white day" where boys can give back something if they liked the girl who gave cookies to him or give it to someone else. It's a form of confession already.
In our country and tradition, when a girl confesses or courts a boy, it's unethical already. I don't think so. What a guy can do, girls can too. I mean, we are not supposed to just wait for a prince charming to arrive. Life isn't fairytale. We also have to make our hunt. 
So, it goes for both people. Either of them.
