Cracks may contain viruses and trojan that can cause problem on their computer. So better scan it with their anti virus or scan it thru online scanner like www.virustotal.com . Its also the poster responsibility to post a screenshot of the scan program/software if its clean or not. So the member can see it right away is its clean. Lets say the program or software is dirty with some malicious file or a trojan (even it is a false report of the antivirus) , its the member responsibility if they still want to download that specific program. Requesting pirated or crack software will be avoided because they may scare to ask one (nobody want a virus or trojan on their pc). With this rules the member will think twice to use a pirated software cause it may can contain malicious file. I disagree, the rule is simple and should be followed to prevent admin from finding ftalk in trouble for allowing sharing of hacked or priated software, even giving links to sites is considered illegal True there are post in the various thrends that should be reviewed and possibly removed but that is the mods decisions. This is friendstertalk. Most of the topics here should be about friendster right? Some post are from last year, how come nobody notice it ? Does it mean the moderator are violating the rules too? Well admin take a few minute to look on those thread. Anyway that is only a suggestion and this is not my site . The threadstarter also gave some samples (ie. Anime since videos are not pirated [b]software[/b]). Why do we prohibit members on posting/discussing pirated software? - Because these illegitimate programs can cause serious harm on others' computers and systems since they are executable files (.exe) On the other hand, on this [url=http://theftalk.com/t40607-Particle-Illusion...-for-siggies-or-movie-effects.html]post[/url], we will review the RapidShare link in it. If the said link provides a cracked/pirated software (not a free trial version), we will remove the link in that post.
