it seems like im having some problem to format my pendrive..
each time i click the format button, a warning pops up!
it says:
[b]WINDOWS CANNOT FORMAT THIS DRIVE. QUIT ANY DISK UTILITIES OR OTHER PROGRAMS THAT ARE USING THIS DRIVE, AND MAKE SURE THAT NO WINDOWS IS DISPLAYING THE CONTENTS OF THE DRIVE. THEN TRY FORMATTING AGAIN.[/b]
but somehow, i didnt open any windows that display d content of the pendrive..
can any1 teach me how to fix it??

Most pendrives do not require formatting, plug and play ready to go

background application might accessing your usb storage. it might be an antivirus trying to autoscan it or a virus trying to write itself unto it.
try to check your task manager and find out what application is running background and/or temporarily stop your antivirus from checking your pendrive.

or else your pendrive contains a virus
that's why you can't format it
