So, umm can mods change the titles... is that possible or they don't have access?
If no, then excuse me for being such a primadonna.

your right its really bugging, but we cant really blame them, maybe its because of text lingo, but your request, cannot be done, moderators only correct if it violates the rules, unfortunately its not in the rules.
happy holidays
I can still tolerate with improper English because I know that not all FTalkers are very good in English.

btw, what's wrong with correcting a thread's title?

Your suggestion to correct the topic titles is good. I also find it very uncomfortable to post in topics with vague titles. I hope that MODs could do that. And may I add, not all MODs are good in grammar as well. (sorry for what I said, but this is true.) If this suggestion will not be triumphant, then please take my advise, you, me and all other responsible members (who know "something" about english), should PM the Topic Starter and advise him/her to correct the title of his/her topic if it needs to be corrected.

Its like a text lingo.
Well for my opinion,
i think mods does not have the right to change the title of the threadstarter.
They can simply send a PM to the threadstarter to change the title.
If the title of the thread is not readable/confusing/censored or offensive,
they can lock it and leave a remarks telling the reason why the thread is lock
and besides,
we don't have a rule for text lingo

yes thats wat im trying to say
yes thats wat im trying to say
this is not about rules. the TS is just requesting for the TITLE of the topics, and not the content itself. I hope that you have read my previous post for this topic as well.

as i said before, mods does not have the right to change the TITLE.
If mods edit the title, it will also affect the content of the post of the TS,
even they are not editing the body of of the post.
it will be like this:
Last edited by moderator (Today 12:00:00)
it will become unfair for others.
Im not saying im not trusting a moderator for editing the post, but just to be fair.
Mods can abused it, they will just edit the post they hate or they dont like.
If we have other way rather than editing the title by mods, it will be much better sir.

im sorry kuya. hehe.
im pointing only to mods to pm the threadstarter if the title is using a text lingo.
and your pointing to all responsible members.
i agree with you kuya .gif)
and to all of you

i think mods are responsible enough not to play around by editing what they dont like (unless of course if its offensive, on the other hand, if its offensive,.,then im sure, they'll lock it immediately)
I have already said in the other thread my opinion regarding grammar issues., Mods themselves make grammatical errors. Moreover, they are not here to play our English Teacher. They don't need another added responsibility by checking if topic titles are grammatically correct.
The best way is to PM the threadstarter.
Members and mods can PM da TS to change the title. It will also serve as a reminder to the TS so that the next time, he/she will make a thread., he/she will be more grammar-conscious in posting a new topic so as not to annoy members who are maybe grammar-conscious in their nature.
as i said before, mods does not have the right to change the TITLE.

its only a grammar they will correct, they will not change the title so as to contradict with the topic.,which means, the content will still be the same.
example: ( choice your own signiture from my premades!)
they'll just change it to-->> ( choose your own signature from my premades!)
I hope i have set points clear.
It's still up to the moderators, I mean, come on, I can only see some thread starters doing like this every once in a while.
But jieduck's suggestion might be good however, whether you like it or not, each of them could still get offended. What if a lot of people flooded the said user reminding "hey your topic title is not good, etc. etc." How would you react to that? Isn't that annoying?
