Anyway, any suggestions?
Back in the cave man days when I first started with computers this was very common...many of us simply removed the case cover and had a fan blowing directly inside the case..it helped in Texas were its VERY hot during the summer months!
Remove the HDD first then let it cool. -don't know if that works
It's kinda hard to do that. It's a server computer so it barely gets turned off. Except those power failures. my HDD reached 46 degrees celsius and my temperature management application warned me. If the HDD/Cpu temperature is getting higher, what will happen? will the computer shut down, cpu explosion or what?
HDD fans are so cheap in cdrking
Just looked and visited most the shops and computer centers here in Lucena, no luck. :wallbash: The computer already has 6 fans. Anyway, nobody in our area sell HDD exhaust fans or HDD heat sinks.
I would be more worried about the CPU or hard drive overheating than a the dust
CPU is only 36% to 43%. Anyway, dust + electricity = fried dust and soot. So dust isn't ideal either, specially if you want to keep your motherboard alive a long time. :D

hmm, I would recommend a case where there's a fan in the front where the hdd's are, or if it's a decade old, how bout just buying a new hard drive , I think new one would probably take less heat than old ones  and also if it's a server computer, then probably better cooling sytems :) hmm how about water cooling?
I would be more worried about the CPU or hard drive overheating than a the dust ;)
I agree :yes2: hmm, when I had a problem similar to this I think a year ago, what I did was just relocate the harddrive, the location can at least help a bit ;)
The computer already has 6 fans.
hmm, just checking... is the airflow right? and also the location of the cpu :)

Anyway, we solved the problem. Bought a new HDD Applied the old HDD in a slave with no constant running and reading of applications. The old HDD runs at 35 to 46C hehe... Thanks for the idea guys. We can't replace it way because it's a 500GB storage. :lol3:
