Re: As we all know the term Emo/Rakista is spreading around the world and also in our looks and lifestyle, but... Do you think being a true emo or rakista is shown in style? For me having style is cool a

my opinion about the word "emo" for me, emo means "emotive hardcore" not emotional...all songs in this world are emotional I know this word is used to label bands like MCR, FOB, secondhand serenade and other bands. those bands i've mentioned above are not emo MCR - alternative, punk FOB - pop/alternative/punk secondhand serenade - alternative/acoustic emo has the essence of hardcore so it's impossible for them to become emo Emo is a dead genre for me. According to my researches, emo started somewhere in the 80’s. The real emo bands’ music is very far from the bands which people label as emo today and so does their faces and appearance. The real emos (80’s) doesn’t have one sided hair, studded belts and other things that the “emo fashion” has. And this word, I think, is overused and abused. They’re attaching this word to suicide, loner, one sided hairs, depression, and cutting wrists. i don't actually have a hate on them, i have respect for them...
