Sorta speaking... Yeng Constantino has a Avril Lavigne appeal now a days. 
Anyway there's Julliane, Nyoy Volante, Slapshock, Hilera, Gloc 9, Parokya Ni Edgar, Bamboo, Kamikaze, URBANDUB, Sitti and so many to mention...
Our music isn't dying due to the fact we still win music awards around the globe. The problem is, people tend to listen to low class crappy music because the radio station has nothing to offer. They keep playing song parodies of foreign artist that has a negative effect to our country's status regarding music.
Just for the info... I am not saying our media regarding radio serves is bad music ok? But some do...
