Friends I just used the css linker it works fine on IE, don't know about FF 
I tried it in both About Me and WIWTM boxes and it worked in both.
Make real sure the complete code is being pasted and saved in ur WIWTM. Paste it, save it, then view the box to make sure the complete code is still there. If not that means you do not have enough space to paste and need to remove something in order for the linker to work on ur profile.
