Re: As we all know the term Emo/Rakista is spreading around the world and also in our looks and lifestyle, but... Do you think being a true emo or rakista is shown in style? For me having style is cool a

emo is word so misused-overused nowadays (thx to the bands MCR nd FOB) just like FOB drummer(forgot his name) "i want to shoot emo in the head" well basically coz most people associates them w/ the word emo apperently they are not, hell no! emo can be distinguish thru lyrics, not how they sound today when teenagers (nd not so teens) hear a band that screams, or sing w/ a high-pitch-cat-like-voice, they automatically label them as emo,a big no no! i remember once, suagrfree is being interviewed at nu107(they are not big yet nor released an album) dylan(DJ) ask them, whats their genre, they aswered straight "emo-rock" i bet most of you wont agree, coz just like what i said above(bout how emo is being defined today) well i consider myself emo... i even thought of suicide when i was 4th yr HS(i'm 23 BTW, am'i too old for this site? haha) when i recieved my first heartache! yes i'am emo... even before this whole emo-punk thing explodes but i dont dress like others... those seagull type hair w/metal belts nd thick eyeliners, just to be called emo damn, i'am emo coz i'am emo, not thru style or music trend just like what i said the, E word is so misused nd overused just my 2cent btw sory for my bad english,grammar/spell check pls!
