Thanks for the link and I read it.
I don't really know why they shouldn't reconsider this even if we can still fully or partially understand text lingo. For me, it's better to see a lot of slang in Ftalk than seeing some L337 words like text lingo. I also agree that we are using your PC not our cellphone. If it's a matter of expression, why can't they relate themselves using the language we are using so that we can understand them? Not all in this forum can understand text lingo and I hope everyone knows that.
It's better to prevent than to cure.
