For example,
Nintendo made the Wii and they made a game for it, like Super Mario Galaxy, so Super Mario Galaxy is a first party game because Nintendo made it.
EA made the game Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii so MoHH2 is a third party game because it wasn't made by nintendo.
