your ym id's can be anywhere. the best thing to do is to block the user. Yahoo! Messenger has an ignore function. and if you don't want others to see your ym id, better not put it in public forms.

Oh my Gaw. I also experienced the same thing. That guy also added me in YM and when I asked him if where did he get my id, he said "Got it from Friendtertalk". o.O He`s sooooo yuckie.

Then don't post your ym IDs in any forum section. Bots search forums, blogs and websites to gather informations such as YM IDs. They tend to do these kinds of things to promote their own websites (ie. porn sites). Treat your YM ids and other informations as your precious things lol. Be cautious and/or careful on giving away informations. You can even hacked by a hacker by just giving away your informations.

i agree with the suggestion.. someone added me in ym promoting his site(he said it's a forum) and i asked him if he's a member of ftalk(i immediately remembered ftalk coz there's a thread in the Phils. section that we get to post our ym ids there.remember?) then he said that he's not,and i asked him if he's a guest then he said he is..his name in ym is genuinel Lingkibang.. if i'm right,guests can't view the Phils. section,right?or am i not?
