I’d rather wait for him to say, baka aksi mapahiya pa ako. We rode off the car and walked around. Familiar talaga. I’m waiting him to speak up pero his silence makes me deaf. Still, I did not speak. I know he’s taking a glance at me, and I can sense that he feels that I’m feeling something. Pero, go. Lakad parin kami. Until we arrived exactly infront of the house. I could hear noises inside, and that made me talk to him. “Anu ung ingay sa loob?Tsaka…” He didn’t let me finish my statement. Errr. “Let’s find out.” Nakakairita sagot niya ah. But there, he opened the door, and… “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRISSY..!!!!” Woah. What’s this? Mom, Dad, Sis ko, si Gell, some close relatives, and… Migs? Surprise ba itetch? Kaninong idea nman kaya toh? “Happy Birthday Triss”, Carl said while giving me a bouquet of flowers. “Thanks Carl, is this a..?” I noticed Migs staring at us. “Yeah, yeah, a surprise for you. ” “W-who prepared this?” I asked “all of us here prepared for this, just for you. “ Oohhh, But I think only one person is behind this. I need to find out. I left Carl to go to my parents. I asked mom whose idea is this, and oh my… “You’re asking whose idea is this?Why would I tell you dear?” “Please mom, I’m begging you. I need to punch and give a lot of thanks to the one who has thought of this. I really felt that this day isn’t my day since the time I woke up. But this thing here? It changed my thoughts and my feelings.So c’mon mom, tell me..” “Fine dear. A week ago, Carl called me and asked if me and your dad could have a dinner with him. He made a nice approach, and so, we accepted his invitation. He told us about what he’s planning and asked us what place is memorable to you. And here.” My mom gave me a teasing smile. “Errrr. Really mom? OMG, I though at first he forgot my bday, coz he didn’t even greet me when he fetch me at our house. I’m touched, please inform him.” I winked at her and turned around. Sitting on the couch with Gell, I’ve seen Migs and Carl talking. I tried to listen to their conversation. “Nice idea dude,” Migs told Carl. “Thanks, “ Carl answered. “From where did you get this huh? From the trashes you’ve thrown?” Migs spoke in a disgusting manner. “I don’t want a fight here bro, it’s Trissy’s special day.” Awwww. He really cares a lot. I talked to Gell so that I’d stop listening at their conversation. “Happy bday sis, btw, it’s good to see your two guys here” Gell laughed. “Err, Gell stop it. I don’t wanna talk about it for now.” I stared at her for few seconds, giving her a strange face. Few minutes later, Migs approached us and said that he’d better leave now. He told us that he can’t take Carl’s arrogance towards him and that he can’t stand seeing me with Carl. I just let him leave immediately, coz I hated how much he lied. I’ve heard few of their conversations and Carl didn’t even speak up arrogant words towards him, and besides, the only time I was with Carl before he left is when we arrived there. The day almost ended, and even though Migs didn’t appear the same Migs I knew few days ago, it didn’t bother me much. I don’t know why. “Your ex is nice, isn’t he?
