hmm,.. im a wordpress user for almost 2 years...
i have a blog registered @ wordpress.com and a self hosted site with a wordpress platform that ive downloaded from wordpress.org..
i think Friendster is using a wordpress platform (from wordpress.org) which i know should be customizable. but maybe they are still trying to figure out 'how'..because in a self-hosted site with a wordpress platform you still need an ftp software and ftp account to fully customize the look of your blogs and for you to upload some plug-ins on it... maybe friendster is still trying to figure out how we can do all of the customizing thingy without having the need for an ftp software and ftp account..
i think the whole new friendster is nice... and there are only 3 cons i can see :
1. Limited customization of themes
2. You can’t hack the code behind your blog
3. Script codes isnt yet accepted
but still, its a neat blog for us to try out.. and besides there are lots of things you can do to customize it, you may add some of your own headers, change colors, add lots of pages, and some widgets, a lil html,.... and its really great for starters with limited css knowledge..
