I think what you mean is the Help Section, Am I right?. As far as I know. If the Moderator locked/closed the topic, After 2 or 3 days, Its automatically will be moved to Recycle Bin, :). That's why. Maybe our Mod don't have a time to move the topics. They don't delete those topic cause that may be a good reference to the other users. The good thing is. Its locked. We just need to wait to be move to Bin,. :D

We try to move topics now a days withinr a one month period. We do that because, of members who doesn't now how to use the search function. We let members browse the Help Section throughtly first before we move them. It helps both parties... :penguin:

OMG :O You are right about the New Member Introduction thread. I didn't know about that, I don't visit that section much, There's so many Closed topics there. hmm, How I wish I am a Mod there so I can help the other Moderators on Moving those Locked topics. tsk. For the mean time, Let's wait for the Actions of our assigned Mods there. If they got a time, They will do it for sure,. =) Thanks for your concern

Re: can they be moved to the "recycle bin"?..it looks messy in the section if it is still there and not used or something blabla!... just a suggestion..

It is because that section doesn't add any new post to their total posts. Which means it doesn't matter if they post a lot in there. Eventually their posts will be deleted when the cleaning time starts in that section.

Here's a message from admin when I asked his opinion about those locked topics stays in original section.
Well actually I prefer closed and outdated threads to stay in its original sections so people can still search and access the content if needed. :)
Sounds like admin is promoting an "Archives" for each section of the forum =)

Well. I did it sometimes. I left the closed topics on my section. Closed topics aren't always useless topics. Some of them have informations that are needed. And they are closed to avoid spammers or any other reasons. Use your sense. When you see any closed topics that shud be deleted. Just report it, the mods will do appropriate action. :D
