I don't think the team needs more moderator. Excluding the threadstarter. :)

I believe that the prospective of this suggestion is for the continued progress of this forum. So I absolutely agree to Kua Jie. =)

 if that's the case, i'd give my former position to Kuya Jie. Anyway, the number of moderators isn't the problem. It's the willingness of the moderator to devote an amount of his/her time to serve the community, and some other factors :penguin:

I think, the thread starter... wanted to see more moderators here in ftalk. And i highly agree w/ it. The reason: because of the number of retiring/retired mods...

Re: Good day once again, my fellow FTalkers! I'm sure you have noticed that there are now quite a number of Moderators who already retired (for reasons only known to them and some others). They really d

^Thanks for all the support. Furthermore, I agree with Sis Thrish that it's the willingness, dedication, devotion and availability of the moderator is now our main concern. In fact, I have reported two topics (in Fashion and in Lifestyle Sections), unfortunately, it looks like that no action has been done so far. It looks like that all the Mods in that Section are not available for quite a period of time, maybe because all of them are busy in real life and other important things. I understand that the current "number of MODs" is quite "enough", unfortunately, in my observation, the "availability" of most of them are quite hard to meet. Lastly, my recommendation to add Moderators into our community is a sign of progress and growth in our community, as pointed out by Byrone. But still, it will be up to Sir Admin for the decision, we are just raising our voice and concern. Kind regards to everyone.

in my opinion i do not believe this forum with it's current moderators can moderate everything in this huge community! this is well indeed good suggestion from the topic starter.

it seems like the force of additional moderators in this topic are stronger than not! if i am the admin of this forum, ill rather choose those people who has the better sense of understanding about everthing not that kind moderators who are luck of experiences, rants, abusing their supremacy and as well arrogant . as a wanderer, i hope there is no moderators like those here!

I'm monitoring this topic. And let me give my opinion. Well. A nice suggestion. But, why don't we employ the existing moderators to moderate sections here. No adaptation needed. They have already known what to do.

I was thinking not to get involve in this topic but I feel that you have a sense of concern with the forum in a good way. -- Yes, I think FriendsterTalk needs more moderators (since some already retired and the community is getting bigger), but the thing is the more the moderators, the greater chance of having chaos and arguments in the backstage (moderator's section) and/or in other forum sections. -- This is just a reminder that we can only suggest and give our opinion. The decisions are going to be made by the Admin.

But i think some of them are busy now, and we must give a chance to other that is willing to moderate this forum. Some of the members here has the capability to become a moderator. =)

Anyway, its just only my opinion. It's up to admin's decision. ;)

This is also one of my concerns, because I see some sections with 3 or 4 MODs assigned, and there are times that they are unavailable (one is on vacation, i suppose, while the others are busy with their studies and other commitments), especially the FTalk Cafe and Hobby & Entertainment Sections. I hope that you will also be moderating that section..... Furthermore, i am quite sure that we have members here who have moderating experience, while some of them are also moderators of other forums. So, adding them to the rooster is not a problem with regard to "know what to do"...
