You can find your Referral URL on your forum profile/User CP > Essentials > Referrals.
If someone visits FriendsterTalk from your referral URL and registers to become a member, your Referral Count will be increased by one. Note that, the system will check the IP addresses and your Referral Count won't change if both of you have the same IP.
A member with more than 20 Referral Count and 200 Referral Post Count will become a [b]Promoter[/b].
- Referral Count = The total number of member referred by you.
- Referral Post Count = The total number of post from all members referred by you.
*Moderators have the right to delete any of your referrals.

but 20? is it kinda easy to have 20 referral counts esp to those who have computer shops or who uses computers at a computer shop

The rank will be displayed as Promoter instead of the normal one.

Yup, you got the point Aries, if it's too easy there will be too many 'Promoter', so it is not an exclusive member group anymore. I hope you understand cip6192.
The requirement has been updated with Referral Post Count as a new parameter. At least 20 Referral Count and 1000 Referral Post Count are needed. Which means that the members that registered from your Referral URL need to be active in forum (have certain amount of post) in order for you to become a Promoter. It won't give any effect if you have > 20 referrals but they do not make any post.

Hey, this sure is cool. Everytime random Friendster members ask me anything about profile pimping, I usually tell them to "go to Ftalk and go look for more tweaks there". At least it will be usefull now.
