Nasa loob na ako ng condo unit ko at kasama ko ngayon si Raine.
Ginagamot kasi niya ang mga sugat ko.
"Napakakulit mo kasi! Kung hindi siguro sinabi sa akin ni Pia yang isip batang basketball niyo ni Enzo... nilalangaw ka na siguro doon sa gitna ng court." She said.
Tsk. Talakitok ka talaga Pia.
"Imposible yon! I'm sure na may lalapit sa akin na maraming babae, tapos tutulungan nila ako. Sa gandang lalaki kong ito, baka dumugin pa ako sa park."
"Ang hangin naman dito."
Inirapan nya ako.
"Baka nakabukas yung aircon."
"Pilosopo!"
Diniin niya yung bulak sa sugat ko.
"Aray! [i]*hinihipan ang sugat*[/i] Pede bang betadine na lang, huwag ALCOHOL?!"
She [b][i]SMILED[/i][/b].
Uh-oh.
Kinuha niya yung alcohol.
"Alcohol pala huh." She whispered.
Inalis niya yung takip.
"Wag, parang awa mo na."
Ibinuhos niya yung AlCOHOL SA SUGAT KO.
"ARAAAY! [i]*ihip*[/i] Wala kang awa! [i]*ihip ulit sa sugat*[/i] Ganyan ka ba talaga ka sweet sa akin?!" I said.
Ang hapdi!
"Pasalamat ka, mahal kita." bulong ko.
"Anong binulong mo?"
Binubuksan nanaman niya yung takip ng alcohol.
"Wala po! Ang sabi ko, pasalamat ka dahil iniligtas kita kay Enzo. Hindi mo kasi kilala, nagpapaligaw ka na."
Nilapit niya ang mukha niya sa akin.

Saka niya sinabi...
"HINDI PO AKO NAGPAPALIGAW." saka siya nag-smile.
"OO NA. Lumayo ka na sa akin. Mawalan pa ako ng ganang kumain."
Pero nilapit niya pa ng konti yung mukha niya.
Crap! I am blushing.
"Bakit? Nagagandahan ka lang yata. Baka ang ibig mong sabihin, hindi ka makakatulog mamayang gabi kakaisip sa akin."
Oo na. Tama ka naman palagi.
Natatameme ako kapag nandyan ka.
Wala na tuloy akong masabi.
"Nagblu-blush na siya. Ayii." She said.
Tumingin naman ako sa salamin sa gilid.
"Rosy cheecks lang." I said.
"Maniwala ako. Bleh."

"Ito ha, huwag kang makikipagkaibigan kay Enzo."
Wala na kasi akong masabi.
Nilayo na niya yung mukha niya sa akin, naging seryoso na rin ang mukha niya.
"Opo, sir."
"Pero bakit kailangan mo pang gawin yon? I mean, kaya ko naman ang sarili ko. Yan tuloy, tignan mo ang ngyari sayo. Mukhang napagtripan." dugtong niya.
"Dahil..." I said habang nakatingin sa salamin, tinitignan ang reflection niya.
"Dahil ano?"
"Dahil... Kaibigan kita."
"Ahhh."
She looks at her watch.
"Sige, I got to go. Gabi na. Good night." She said.
She headed to the door.
"Ihahatid na kita."
"No need. Tignan mo nga yang katawan mo, mukhang pinagsamantalahan."
"Oo na."
"Richard.... I'm sorry."
And again, she was gone.
Bakit ko ba talaga siya pinoprotektahan?
Katulad ng ngyari kanina.

Tumayo na ako mula sa pagkabagsak ko, sa gitna ng court.
Pinunasan ko ang dugo mula sa bibig ko at tumingin kung saan nanggagaling ang boses na tumatawag sa akin.
She has a red umbrella. Beautiful…
Dumidilim na ang paligid.
Ayokong mangyari ang ngyari kahapon, ng iwan niya akong nag-iisa sa corridor.
Kailangan kong manalo, hindi ako susuko.
Lumakas ang ulan.
Basang-basa na ako.
Lumapit ako sa kanya.
"Ano bang ginagawa mo?!" She asked.
"TRUST ME, kahit ngayon lang." My hands are clenched.
"Pero-"
"Just today."
"M-Mag-iingat ka."
Her voice makes me stronger. I began to walk inside the court and face Enzo.
"Ano?! Tapos na ba ang drama?! Laban na!" He said.
He throws me the ball.
I started dribbling.
I ran towards the basket and tried to do some lay-up when...

Raine started to run towards me.

She stopped running.

Tsk. Pinaalala pa sa akin si Enzo.
Nagdadalawang isip tuloy ako pero umiral nanaman ang pride ko.

Darn. Ano ba itong pinagsasabi ko, punong-puno talaga ako ng kasinungalingan.

Naka-loudspeaker pala ang cellphone, hindi man lang sinabi.

"Pia, huwag mong pilitin yung tao. Tama na yan." boses ni Raine, narinig ko sa background.
"Ayos lang yan. Solo ko si Raine." boses naman ni Martin.
Kumukulo na ang dugo ko.
"Ayoko nga! Ayokong manyakin mo si Raine, si Richard na lang kaysa sa iyo. Kawawa si bff ko kung nagkataon!"
Reply ni Pia kay Martin.
Tsk. Napipilitan tuloy akong pumunta.

Nasa couch siya, may binabasa siyang libro.

Si Pia parang na-inlove.
Si Martin nakangiti lang.
Raine suddenly stopped from reading.
Nag-shake hands silang lahat but ito ang napansin ko...
When Raine and Tyron are shaking their hands... Raine SMILED but Tyron looked SERI0US.
Haaay... Wala... Ewan.
"Kumpleto na pala tayo kaya hindi na kailangan si Yaya. Andyan na si Tyron." Pia said na nakangisi.
"What are you thinking Pia?" Raine said.
"May gusto akong laruin!" She replied.
"Sige, game!" Martin said.
"What game?" I asked.

"Tagu-taguan!!" Pia said.
"Nyek! Pambata!" Martin said.
"Malaki bahay mo, este mansyon. Mahirap maghanap." I said.

Nag-iba ng desisyon. Narinig lang si Raine magsalita.
"Lagyan natin ng twist, para masaya." Tyron said.
"Sige! By partner! Si Martin ang taya!" Pia said.
"Bakit AK0?!"
"Di ba may pinag-usapan tayo kanina?" Pia said.
"Ehh... Gusto kong partner si Raine." Martin said.
"Tataya ka ba o Hindi?!" Pia said.
"0PO na po, tataya na!"
"Partner kami ni Tyron ha Richard kaya partner kayo ni....

"Please! Pleeasse!! Vice President, Pleaseee!!!" Her eyes are pleading like a child.. It's impossible to say NO.
I sigh.
I missed a lot of things in just a matter of days. I've been better than before, pouring my anxiety and fears.
[i]It's good to be BACK.[/i]
Cold wind rushed through me, refreshing every living soul. My hair goes with it freely then falling back against my shoulders down to my waist. The sun shines astonishingly as it hits every single face in this room. It lifts up my darkened and uniformly confused heart.
How I wish to be just a normal girl.
Pia nudged at me. Waking my senses.
I turned my head to look at her timidly. She signaled me to turn my attention at Liza, the head of the Newspaper Club.
Right, I've been spacing out a while now. 
I saw Liza, her head ducked down.
I put my hands on her shoulder. "Hey.. you don't need to plead." I said to her in a soft voice.
She raised her head and suddenly blushed when she sees my face.. near to her.
"U-Uhmm. V-Vice President.." she's having a hard time finding her words. 
Pia chuckled. I gave her a deadly stare.. Tinatakot niya si Liza. Mamaya masulat pa kami sa headlines..
[b]'WARNING: TWO EVIL WITCHES ON THE LOOSE!!!'[/b] 
The idea made me laugh inwardly. 
My hands are now place on my sides knowing that I made Liza uncomfortable earlier. Mukha talaga siyang kinakabahan pero desidido. She amuses me.. On how brave she is.. To face the consequences ahead of her... At least trying to have a fight..
[i]Can I do the same thing?[/i]
"Aber, Aber.. Bakit sa kayrami-raming tao dito sa campus.. Si napakaganda ko pang BESTPREN ang pinili niyo?" Pia asked..
Clearly, she's scaring Liza. I saw Liza swallowed hard.
Pia suddenly put her hand on her mouth.." Oh my God!! That made sense!! It's because she's beautiful!" 
I narrowed my eyes at Pia indicating that she must shut her mouth. But she gave a sarcastic smile. Kung hindi lang talaga kita kaibigan Pia..
Liza nods. "V-Vice President, Kayo lang po talaga ang nababagay sa role na yun. Pasensya na po talaga dahil kailangan na po naming i-release yung bagong issue next week and we badly need that picture.. the students are asking it for a long time.. and isasali din po namin yun sa annual photography contest." 
Liza let out a big sigh.
Pia poked me." Sisiw lang yan kay bestpren! Susuotin lang naman niya yung damit 'di ba? Tapos pipicturan niyo lang naman. JARAN!!! tapos na!! Wag kang mag-alala nerd, papayag din itong si Raine."
She's right.. I can't say NO to Liza.. It's for the school anyway, pero bakit hindi na lang si Bhryne?? Geez. she's probably too busy with Richard. The thought brings me sudden pain. Oh, how I like to erase it, to crush this feeling so that it will never grew again but it becomes impossible every moment I see him.
Richard with Bhyre... the idea made me uncomfortable and sick.. WHY?
"Ms. Vice President?" Liza is gripping her I.D holder anxiously.. waiting for my reply.
I nod indicating that I accepted her request.
"LET'S GO." then the three of us made our way to the Club's Studio.

"One! Two! Three!"[/b]
"Nice One!" the photographer exclaimed.
The light blinds me in a good way.. The shutter focused on me for a long time.. Each snap is endearing...
I can hear my own heartbeat.. Bakit napaka-tahimik nila?
My eyes are spying around the studio looking at every single face..
I can see Liza who looks very happy, the members of the Newspaper's Club whose looks are enticed;
some of them are having their mouths partly open..and Pia that is smiling (up to her ears) all the time.
[b]"PERFECT!"[/b] the photographer said giving me a smile.. then he talks to Liza saying that he's done taking all the pictures... they shared smiles and they bid goodbyes..
Liza and Pia approached me in an instant. Pia gave me a thumbs up and a very wide grin. She's planning on something. Geez. 
"Vice President! It's all PERFECT!! Thank you very much!! In behalf of the Newspaper Club.." Liza looked at the members and together they bowed.
"Your welcome." I smiled at them.
"Wow, that's Great!! But were hungry now.. Hello! it's 10am.." Pia said and rolled her eyes. 
I glared at her. 
"Hehe." she made a peace sign. 
"Oh, were truly sorry. Salamat po talaga Vice President and Pia. It's really a big thing for us." Liza's eyes are genuine.
"No need. It's my responsibility after all."
I looked at Pia. "If you'll excuse us, I have a pet to feed." Liza nod at me.
Pia suddenly coughed (more like a choking sound for me)
I waved at the whole members and they returned smiles..
We exited...
While we’re finding our way to the dressing room.. Certain students gasp when they saw me.
"Itago mo kasi ung pakpak mo!!" Pia said sarcastically.
WINGS. Right, I'm wearing an Angel's Wings a big white one. And for additional information, I'm wearing an all-white dress so anyone would probably mistaken me for being an Angel. My hair is also arranged and turned to have soft shiny curls, I have a stunning make-up, shiny jewelries.. Parang ganito rin ako nung nasa play but I think this is much better.
Were walking while the other students stop and stare. I feel uncomfortable at the moment, the dressing room seems miles away and Pia is still grinning.
"Stop it."
"What?" Pia asked innocently.
"Smiling sheepishly all the time."
"I'm not." She made puppy eyes. 
"You are."
"NO."
"Yes."
Her grin grew huge. Geez. What is she thinking??
"What are you thinking?"
"Mmmm. Nothing."
"Liar." I walked fast enough for her to chase me. Pia caught me.
"Sorry, I'm just thinking of Richard's face.. on how he will react seeing you in this state." She said in a sing-song voice.
I feel a sudden leap in my chest hearing his name.
"How he will react?"
"Yesshh!! He will probably fall in love moooooorrree.. he will jump on you, kiss you and-" 
"PIA!!!"
She laughed hard. I'm blushing at the moment. TEASE!!
I rolled my eyes and walk fast, leaving her behind...
She was saying something but my attention is caught by a cute little girl crying on the end of the hallway. I think she's about 4-5 years old, wearing two ponytails and a pink Barbie bag. I heard her sobs and the sound simply melts me. Is she lost? Probably.
I approached her immediately and Pia is clearly tailing on me. I lean down and inched closer to her.
"Are you lost?" I asked softly.
She stopped crying and looked up.
I smiled sweetly, not trying to make her scared..
Her eyes grew huge and she gasped loudly..
She's so [i]CUTE![/i] I want to pinch her cheeks badly.
"A-ANGEL!!" she squeaked.
My brows twitched. What? Angel??! Geez! Oo nga pla!! I'm still on an Angel's costume. Kailangan ko na nga talagang magpalit ng damit. But I need to help this kid first,, baka kung anong mangyari sa kanya.
"Oh my Gosh! Dumadagsa nanaman yung mga fans mo bestpren, kung ako sayo, magpalit kana ng damit mo.. "
I turned my head and saw a number of students approaching me.
"Baby Girl sama ka na lang sa Angel kasi dudumugin tayo dito. Let’s go bestpren." With that, Pia grab my right arm and the little girl hold my left hand. We run until were at the dressing room.

Pia locked the room, her hands on her waist. The little girl panting from running.
"I'll be right back."
"Take your time." Pia said in a hefty voice.
"Hey, don't scare the kid!"
"Ouuucchh. Are you saying that I'm a bad girl? You're hurting my feelings." Pia said in a playful voice then pouted. 
"Yes, you are." I slammed the door shut.
What an annoying friend.. yet... SO FUNNY.

It took me some minutes to change and when I came back.. I heard giggles..
Wow, this is not bad.
"Bakit naman siya naging monster Alice?"
"It's because he's big and scary!!"
"OOHHHH!! I bet he's really scary, kitang-kita naman sa drawing mo. HAHAHAHA." They both look at the little girl’s notebook, wearing big smile on their faces. 
"He also said t-hat, that this school is a haunted house!!!" The girl said with a scared voice.
"REAALLYY??!!! Well, he's a monster himself!"
"And- and that all of the student are zombies.."
What?! Zombies?
"Ehem, what am I missing?" They both looked at me as I sit next to them. The little girl stares at me like there's no tomorrow. I smiled at her once again.

"Oh Raine... her name is Alice. Alice, say hi to the stranger. Hahahaha!" Pia is enjoying this.
"Hi.. I'm Alice." she said in a shaky cute voice.
I shake her soft little hands. They're warm at the same time.
"Nice to meet you Alice, just call me-"
"ANGEL!" Pia exclamed.
I glared at her. What are you trying to do Pia? She ignored my stare and continued speaking..
"You see Alice,, I think the monster really got mad.. but he's highly reasonable if you saw the other member of the student council.. they look ZOMBIES!! like the one who will eat your brains.HAHAHA! Right bestpren?"
"Pretty much."
With what she said, I remember a member of the student council.. he had a messy hair, his uniform is crooked.. and the way he walks.. really zombie-like.
"I - I saw him Ate Pia."
"Oh! You must be really scared."
"Yes, until I saw the- the ANGEL."
I look at them quizzically while they look at me with shining eyes.
I laugh weakly.
"ALice, hindi ako-"
"Hindi siya tao, isa siyang Anghel!!!" Pia interrupted.
Geez. For the second time. 2 points for Pia, 0 for me. Paano ko ba ipaglalaban ang karapatan kong makapagsalita. Hindi ko siguro magagawa yun hanggang nabubuhay si Pia. 
Alice gave a quick nod. 
Great, Pia deceived the kid now.
"So Alice,, could you name the monster? Coz' the Angel here (she pointed me) will punished him . It's not right to tell you stories that aren't true."
"Yup, I'll talk to him and make sure that he will not bully you around..anymore."
"Y-You will??!!"
"THE ANGEL WILL!!" Pia said with conviction.
"Pia, would you mind?" I asked sounded irritated. But I'm not. I hope that she'll quit playing with my identity.

Three girls are sitting on the bench in broad daylight, they're three if you'll include me. We're tired walking around, we already ate snacks...I'm relieved that there's a seminar.. NO CLASSES!! Hihi. I don't know if I'm needed at the student council's room, maybe Richard can handle it. I'm sure he can, even if I’m not around.
"AMF!! The monster is hiding.. We should make a plan!" Pia said.
"You should had started doing [b]WHAT YOU CALLED PLAN[/b] earlier, not just walking the whole day solving nothing." I said timidly.
"Maybe the monster will show up if the Angel helped in the first place." She responded.
"I'm helping."
"No. You're just following us."
Alice just looked at us while we're having a debate. It's kind of childish how Pia and I blame each other but it's also FUN.
It's been awhile since I enjoyed the company of others.. wish this feeling last.
"Okay, let's think... Alice, what are the Monster's hobby.. maybe we can know where he's at or what he's doing." I said in a calm voice.
"Oh! Thank God! Somehow a brain starts working." Pia snickered.
"I'm talking to Alice." I said giving Pia a sarcastic smile.
She smirked.
"Uh- Uhmm the mon- monster loves playing the violin." Alice replied.
"Music room." I mumbled.
They look at me bewildered, after a few seconds.. Pia stood up.
"MUSIC ROOM... HERE WE GO!!"

The abandoned music room.. how inviting... No one talked for a second.
I stared at the grand piano like a mouth-watering meal and Pia instantly noticed that.
Pia clapped playfully.. like a child.. and said something in a sing-song voice:
"The Angel will play the piano."
"Really? S-She knows how??" Alice squeaked. 
"Yessh Alice! The Angel knows many many things."
Alice stare at me with PUPPY EYES. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT??!! There is no way to resist this situation.
I sit at the piano's chair and look at them.. waiting for a confirmation.
They seated at one of the hundred seats.. I told you before that this room have a big stage.. almost like a cinema.. or it is indeed a cinema.
They both smiled at me.

"Please! Pleeasse!! Vice President, Pleaseee!!!" Her eyes are pleading like a child.. It's impossible to say NO.
I sigh.
I missed a lot of things in just a matter of days. I've been better than before, pouring my anxiety and fears.
[i]It's good to be BACK.[/i]
Cold wind rushed through me, refreshing every living soul. My hair goes with it freely then falling back against my shoulders down to my waist. The sun shines astonishingly as it hits every single face in this room. It lifts up my darkened and uniformly confused heart.
How I wish to be just a normal girl.
Pia nudged at me. Waking my senses.
I turned my head to look at her timidly. She signaled me to turn my attention at Liza, the head of the Newspaper Club.
Right, I've been spacing out a while now.
I saw Liza, her head ducked down.
I put my hands on her shoulder. "Hey.. you don't need to plead." I said to her in a soft voice.
She raised her head and suddenly blushed when she sees my face.. near to her.
"U-Uhmm. V-Vice President.." she's having a hard time finding her words.

Pia poked me." Sisiw lang yan kay bestpren! Susuotin lang naman niya yung damit 'di ba? Tapos pipicturan niyo lang naman. JARAN!!! tapos na!! Wag kang mag-alala nerd, papayag din itong si Raine."
She's right.. I can't say NO to Liza.. It's for the school anyway, pero bakit hindi na lang si Bhryne?? Geez. she's probably too busy with Richard. The thought brings me sudden pain. Oh, how I like to erase it, to crush this feeling so that it will never grew again but it becomes impossible every moment I see him.

Liza and Pia approached me in an instant. Pia gave me a thumbs up and a very wide grin. She's planning on something. Geez.
"Vice President! It's all PERFECT!! Thank you very much!! In behalf of the Newspaper Club.." Liza looked at the members and together they bowed.
"Your welcome." I smiled at them.
"Wow, that's Great!! But were hungry now.. Hello! it's 10am.." Pia said and rolled her eyes.
I glared at her.

WINGS. Right, I'm wearing an Angel's Wings a big white one. And for additional information, I'm wearing an all-white dress so anyone would probably mistaken me for being an Angel. My hair is also arranged and turned to have soft shiny curls, I have a stunning make-up, shiny jewelries.. Parang ganito rin ako nung nasa play but I think this is much better.
Were walking while the other students stop and stare. I feel uncomfortable at the moment, the dressing room seems miles away and Pia is still grinning.
"Stop it."
"What?" Pia asked innocently.
"Smiling sheepishly all the time."
"I'm not." She made puppy eyes.

I feel a sudden leap in my chest hearing his name.

I rolled my eyes and walk fast, leaving her behind...
She was saying something but my attention is caught by a cute little girl crying on the end of the hallway. I think she's about 4-5 years old, wearing two ponytails and a pink Barbie bag. I heard her sobs and the sound simply melts me. Is she lost? Probably.
I approached her immediately and Pia is clearly tailing on me. I lean down and inched closer to her.
"Are you lost?" I asked softly.
She stopped crying and looked up.
I smiled sweetly, not trying to make her scared..
Her eyes grew huge and she gasped loudly..
She's so [i]CUTE![/i] I want to pinch her cheeks badly.
"A-ANGEL!!" she squeaked.
My brows twitched. What? Angel??! Geez! Oo nga pla!! I'm still on an Angel's costume. Kailangan ko na nga talagang magpalit ng damit. But I need to help this kid first,, baka kung anong mangyari sa kanya.
"Oh my Gosh! Dumadagsa nanaman yung mga fans mo bestpren, kung ako sayo, magpalit kana ng damit mo.. "
I turned my head and saw a number of students approaching me.
"Baby Girl sama ka na lang sa Angel kasi dudumugin tayo dito. Let’s go bestpren." With that, Pia grab my right arm and the little girl hold my left hand. We run until were at the dressing room.
